Walking through a huge gate, similar to the one I had saw when I entered the castle, I noticed that there was a strange golden coloured mist that laid on the ground. As I got closer, I saw through the mist another pathway that was also made out of gold, as gold as Alex's eyes. I walked further down the path until a huge shadow formed on the ground. I stood there, frozen from the shock, as the shadow was forming into an actual object. It changed and formed up in the big blue sky, and I looked ahead, straight at the thing staring. "You have defeated me. You now have the power of an alpha; strength, and you have wolves blood flowing through your veins. If you wake up, you will be alive. If you don't, you shall face my wrath and be stuck here for all eternity." Guilt and shock stabbed through me; what have I done? I shouldn't have gone into the castle. I felt tears form in my eyes as I had realized this was my fate: stuck here forever. Unless I get out, but I have no clue how. Maybe there was something to find, or some puzzle. "Do not fear, young wolf. I shall give you your first clue." What? I am not a werewolf! "I am no werewolf! I don't belong here!" I screamed at the dark figure. The black mist formed into the shape of a growling wolf with big red eyes. "The prophecy is true then. You shall still have to get out of here. You will be the one to save us all." It explained with the big deep voice. I will... save them? Something in my brain made me realize that he could be talking about the demons, the ones that kidnapped me for my power. However I was not the only one there, I was also with... Amelia. She could be our hero. She is a Guardian too, like me.

I realized that I needed to wake up. Now. Or else I would be dead in the real world and stuck here forever, and I certainly don't want that. The smokey mist that formed the wolf, had changed into some strange writing in capital letters: A NIGHTMARE WITHIN. What? This was where I really regretted not listening to those crappy riddles during those times the class had finished the work early. Although I am pretty sure that the students would not have to do this like I am now. I just want to go to sleep! Why was I the one who had to be here? I am not special or talented, I am just me. I continued to stare at the words, still not knowing what that could possibly mean. All I could think of was running away from the horrible smoky mist and hoping if I closed my eyes I would then be out of this place. My surroundings weren't as though I was on Earth, I felt like I could float in the air but something was dragging me down and I knew it was not gravity. A nightmare within... That is only a clue, probably not even a riddle. I couldn't think of anything. Out of frustration, I sighed and wiped my face with my hand. My mind whirled on what to do. Was this even real? I didn't know what was real anymore.
