We headed through a large door which was in the centre of the wall, in between the stair cases. This place was extraordinary!
Once we walked in I gasped. I was star struck from seeing the huge book shelves tower over me, covering every inch of the walls. There were tables and chairs too, all separated by a huge bookshelf. I'm going to love this place, I thought. I smiled and walked around, and skimming my fingers over the books. Some were so old they were made out of leather, with gold ink imprinted in them. It was a spell book. Suddenly, I heard a squeaky voice shout.
"Watch out! Uh oh!" She exclaimed. A flying book almost hit me right on the head. I pick it up and hand it to her. I laugh, and she does too.
"Lucky you ducked!" She grinned. "I'm Pixie." She greeted.
"I am Scarlet." I laughed. I saw the head mistress waiting for me.
"Sorry I have to go... Talk to you later?"
"Sure!" She smiled. "Bye!" She then said. I walked away from her waving. The Head Mistress was waiting patiently at the door.
"I see you've made a friend." She looked down at me. "Pixie is... Interesting." She stated. I didn't know whether that was a good or a bad thing however, I know that she seems like a good, fun person.
"She seems nice." I looked at her, she was laughing with a few others. Pixie had bright long pink hair, with dark blue eyes. She even had a few piercings. A septum piercing and a nose ring. Some people hate piercings but I actually think they look nice, especially the nose ring. When the Head Mistress coughed I then snapped out of my thoughts and realised she was ready to leave. She opened the door and went down the steps which were surprisingly modern. They were in the shape of a spiral, and made out of glass. I would probably fall and break the glass...
"Now your room... Please don't forget your number. Your number is four hundred and forty."
"Okay." We went to that number and I opened the door. She walked I. Behind me, and I looked around the room. It was actually quite nice. We had a cheap television in the corner and a sofa, with four beds, three in use. I'm guessing mine was the one by the window... The one that didn't have clothes and other stuff like food and pizza boxes on them. The bed was neatly made and I had realised that I didn't bring any clothes. None of my belongings were here. I needed to go back and face my mother again and get my things. Well, she wasn't my mother but I still wasn't used to calling her Jenny. I would rather call her evil betraying bitch. Excuse my language.
"This room is pretty." I said, interrupting the awkward silence.
"Why, yes. I think the same thing also." She replied to me.
"What's the next room?" I was wondering this, I had forgotten what she said and I got curious so I had to ask.
"The training room. Let's go, and the canteen is just next door so I do not need to show you that. Your new friends would be happy to help if you ever get lost anyways." She said.
I stayed quiet this time, I was busy wondering if Pixie would be one of my friends and if I would make any new friends too. I hope I did, but I wasn't sure. Maybe I wouldn't fit in here. They may think I am still... Human. I'm not, not anymore. I didn't even realise we were walking until she mentioned about how you can train there. For some reason I actually want to know how to fight and use a sword or just fight. It would be a good idea considering what had happened when I all of a sudden went from the streets to being carried away by a stupid tentacle monster. I went from being a normal sixteen year old who was obsessed with reading, to being supernatural. Fourteen year old me would be so happy. Back then, I wished I had a werewolf boyfriend. And back then, I was a curious clueless child. Now, I've changed. No... No I haven't. If anything I act younger. I don't get it, people say that teenagers are moody, but we aren't! I'm sorry but since when do moody teenagers have an obsession with unicorns? Were they real?!? If witches and werewolves and all that were real then... Oh my god! Unicorns! I could breed a pug with a unicorn to create unipug!
"Ahem, Scarlet, why are you smiling like a psycho?" I didn't even realise... Awkward...
"Sorry..." I mumbled.
I followed her around the changing rooms and then she left me so I could look around for myself.
"Scarlet! You survived the horrifically boring tour with the Head Mistress!" she exclaimed. I laughed, she was so funny.
"So what room you in?" She asked.
"Four hundred and forty." I stated.
"You're in our room! Yes! I can give you makeovers and do your hair..." Oh god. Let's just say that isn't my thing. I find this so weird from being human to being here, and being a witch. I have only just turned sixteen and all this is happening. I can't believe it. You know, this isn't a bad thing, at least I know who I am.
