"what was that about?" as soon as lani walked through the door eve was already questioning her, lani looked at her sister and started blushing "did i walk in at the wrong time?" she asked
lani gave her a 'really?' look "yes you did eve!" she yelled at her in a jokey way "we kissed, it felt so magical" lani said taking a seat on the couch and her sister followed suit and sat next to her "awww my baby sister is in love" she teased lani
"no no no..... i mean i do like him a lot but im not in love with him" she sighed while smiling. she did like him a lo, she just felt safe around him, at peace. "im just not sure we can be together" she said
eve looked at her crazy "uh why not?" eve said not understanding. "because i can't keep lying to him about my identity" she said while looking at eve; lewis made it clear he doesn't like liars a few times, but lani felt she couldn't tell him who she was just yet, so it was best for her to stay away from him for the time being
"lani please be so fucking for real.... you don't have to tell him till you're ready and you trust him and he has to respect you for that" eve said "lani don't let your secret get in the way of finding love" she said giving lani a hug and going upstairs
lani felt like her sister was right, lewis couldn't be that mad and she shouldn't let her secret keep her from talking to lewis. her thoughts were interrupted by her phone going off she picked it up and opened it
"good night sevyn, sweet dreams" she read the text out loud, it was from lewis, she smiled at her phone and replied back to him. she got up and went upstairs to her room to finally go to sleep ...
4 HOURS LATER
"Lani!!!!" she woke up scared out of her mind, she could see her brother yelling in her face "wake up!" he said to her as she looked around trying to figure out where she was "brandon please stop" she said softly to her brother
she just needed a minute to actually wake up, her brother yelling at her was putting her in a stressful situation right now "sorry lani" he said to her chuckling "some guy is downstairs asking for you"
she got up yawning, putting a robe on and tying it, she didn't even fix her hair that was in a messy loose bun before she went downstairs to see who this man was, she honestly assumed it was mars
as she got to the living room "mars can we talk later, i can't work with only 4 hours of sleep" she said with her eyes closed as she was going onto the couch, she was caught by the man before he wrapped his arms around her "okay sevyn you might wanna open your eyes before you hurt yourself" he said to her, she slowly opened her eyes to be face to face with a well rested lewis

"how are you alive right now? " a sleepy sevyn said as she yawned, she started to touch his face "you don't even look like you've been up all night" she said to him lewis started chuckling "okay lets get you back in bed" he said as he picked up her bride style "i had a day planned but we can do that tomorrow" he said as he looked down sevyn was fast asleep
he couldnt help but smile, she looked so beautiful. sevyn was knocked out in his arm as he walked to a open door he assumed was her room. while he walked in, he noticed note pads everywhere, he walked over to her bed and laid her down "good night sevyn" he gave her a kiss on the forehead
he noticed a microphone with other stuff hooked to like a studio he was confused but remembered she said she was a producer but something on the floor caught his eyes, he looked around and picked it up "the letters" on the top of note pad and lyrics followed behind, he didn't think he should read it
so he put it down and walked out her room "she okay?" her little brother asked lewis as he closed the door behind him "yeah she's just sleepy" lewis chuckled, her brother nodded his head "do you mind staying? i have to go the store" her brother asked him
lewis didn't mind stay here waiting for sevyn to wake up "yeah that's fine" he said as they walked down the stairs "okay i'll be back" brandon ran out the door and closed it behind him.
lewis got on his phone and ordered food for them so once she woke up she had something to eat. he walked around her place then he saw something that caught his eyes
it was a platinum plaque with the name Kehlani on it for a song. he was taken aback, he didn't know she actually worked with kehlani, hell, he didn't think she was that big in her industry but he was proud of her
he walked away from that room and walked into the living room, he sat on the couch and turned the tv on. after a while of watching he felt himself falling asleep
"lewis" he could feel someone touching his shoulder "lewis" he could hear her soft voice as she moved him a little, he slowly opened his eyes and saw her standing in front of him "what time is it?" he asked her looking around "6" she said
he looked up at her and smiled "how did you sleep" he said as she took a seat next to him "i slept good but when did you get here?" she was confused on when he came "around 1, i came to take you out but you were too sleepy to go" he said looking at her "i don't even remember you coming here" she started laughing
"your brother asked me to stay so i did and i guess i fell asleep" he said scratching his neck "well since your here, how about i cook?" she said smiling to him his eyes widened "oh shit i forgot i ordered us food" he got up went to the front door and there the food was still on the doorstep
he picked it up and brought it inside when sevyn started laughing "maybe we just leave that alone and i cook us food" she said dropping the bag and putting it on the counter "i'll give it to my dog so it won't go to waste" he nodded his head
"well can i help you?" he asked her and she made a thinking gesture "okay you can help" she said smiling, he smiled at her as she started grabbing everything they might need and he started washing the chicken while she was getting everything ready
the whole night consisted of laugher, talking and cooking. sevyn and lewis felt happy around each other, they couldn't understand it but didn't want to, they felt safety around each other, like they were home.
