I.

Kiefer calmly sat at his desk, doing the two things he loved most.

Sketching and singing.

He was sketching some doodles on his college notebook, singing quietly to the song 'Tattoo' by Rammstien. He was supposed to be paying attention, but since this current class was German, he didn't need to actually pay attention since he was German.

Kiefer's German notebook was just doodles. No notes were actually taken. Yes, he did take notes for other classes. He's not nerdy. He just wants to make sure he gets a degree.

Kiefer snapped out of his little trance as he heard a knock on his door. He glanced over to see his roommate, Eric.

"I'm gonna be filming with the guys. I know that you might not want to talk with them, but the offer to meet them is still there." Eric told Kiefer before he turned to leave. Before he could leave, however, Kiefer's heavy German accent stopped him.

"I'd like to meet zem." Kiefer spoke softly. "Zis class is getting boring anyvay."

Eric paused for a moment as he thought about what Kiefer said. He really wants to meet them? Guess he's overcoming that social anxiety. He smirked lightly before he nodded. "Come on, then." He gestured for Kiefer to follow before he walked out of the room and started toward his own room.

Kiefer sighed and stood up as well, following Eric to his room. He had been in Eric's room a couple of times, so he had a pretty good idea of what it looked like. The only difference since he last had been in Eric's room was that he had a new Displate poster. He grabbed a spare chair and sat down next to Eric, slipping on the balaclava that he always wore whenever he interacted with people other than Eric.

The balaclava was black with the design of a broken jawbone with pine needles growing out of the cracks.

Eric did his thing, opening Discord and some other things before he clicked back to Discord and hovered his mouse over the call that the rest of the Goons were in. He turned to Kiefer. "Ready?" He asked.

Kiefer nodded, muttering lightly to himself, quiet enough so that Eric wouldn't hear. "Du kannst das."
(translation: "You can do this.")

Ending notes:
Hey! Looks like you made it to the end of chapter one. That's nice. I just wanted to say, I never keep motivation for long and honestly forget about a lot of things. That being said, I'm not confident that this story will continue for long. If it does, which it most likely won't, then I hope that it's good and that you enjoy it. For the German translations, I'm just using Google Translate since I don't speak German. BUT! I do want to see if I can take a German class or use Duolingo. Thank you for joining me on this journey and thank you for supporting me.

Oli out.
