The Confession

After the events that had happened the night prior, everyone decided to stay in their own room because they knew that Jules did not want to be bothered.

The next morning they all went downstairs for breakfast. They came downstairs one by one and Jules was the last one to come down.

She grabbed a bowl and a box of cereal and started pouring the cereal and milk into the bowl without looking up. Everyone side-eyed each other, wondering if she was going to ever bring it up.

Jules didn't say a word and took her bowl of cereal upstairs to her room.

Once they all saw that the coast was clear of Jules, they began their gossip.

"I can't believe she didn't say anything to us," Shawn says.

"That's not a shocker to me. She's embarrassed; I mean I would be too if that had happened to me." Hannah replies.

"That fight was crazy. Jake was throwing all sorts of punches and—" Mason says until Hannah nudges his arm to get him to shut up.

"Mason stop being so immature. Who knows what would've happened if we weren't outside to stop it? Your friend feels horrible about it and you're talking about it like it was some WWE match." Hannah says.

Thomas's mouth turned from a smug smirk to a straight face in a matter of seconds. He did not want to get lectured by Hannah next.

"I was just kidding," Mason says sort of quietly. Mason will never admit it but he is terrified of Hannah.

"Sure he was," Shawn whispers to Charlotte.

"I know, he definitely wasn't," Charlotte whispers back.

"We just need to give her some time and maybe she'll feel comfortable enough to tell us. I know that we all know what happened but maybe we should hear her side of the story." Hannah says.

"I guess you're right." Shawn agrees.

They all decide to change the subject as they decided that it isn't necessary to be gossiping about Jules's love life.

They kept silent about it until they saw Jules come down the stairs.

"Hey," Jules says to everyone.

They all awkwardly say hi back to her.

"I know you guys are dying to know what happened," Jules says.

"No, not at all," Shawn says trying to sound sarcastic.

"Shush, Shawn. Anyway, to make a long story short, I lost all feelings for Jake...so I decided to sleep with Noah. I did not expect this to be such drama, and I'm sorry to everyone, especially Hannah, that I brought my mess into this house," Jules says simply.

"It's all good. I understand and I know that you wouldn't do this purposefully to start drama," Hannah replies.

"Thank you for being so nice and understanding about this," Jules replies.

"We've all made some shitty choices in life. We all aren't perfect so we can't criticize," Hannah reassures.

"I love you guys," Jules says and embraces her arms out.

Shawn, Charlotte, and Hannah all accept her embrace while Mason and Thomas stand there because they're 'too cool' for a hug.

"Don't beat yourself up over this, Jules. We're all being slutty this summer," Shawn teases.

"Yeah, tell me about it. I couldn't escape the making out at the party." Jules chuckles.

"It's summer, the prime time to hoe around," Mason replies.
