"KING ARTHUR, ARE you ready to exit the castle?" i asked as i approached him... and yui.
she smiled at me in such a distasteful way.
arthur nodded at me with a soft smile just as he linked arms with yui.
something about her felt so off to me.
i didn't want to jump to conclusions and make arthur hate me since we barely even knew each other to begin with.
we exited the castle, me being behind the couple.
cheers were heard throughout as they waved at everyone in such a sweet manner, it made me smile.
i watched closely as arthur was greeted by multiple people from who knows where.
elizabeth had to pretend greet him to keep up the facade that she wasn't here for a mission, simply just for the festivals.
a few more people came and went until finally a couple approached the two.
something about them seemed familiar but i couldn't place my finger on it at the moment.
i took a step forward, standing sort of close to king arthur and i think he seemed to take notice but didn't turn to face me.

the couple handed arthur a bouquet of lilies.
"do you know what these flowers represent?" the lady asked.
arthur shook his head.
"some say it represents purity or innocence."
"others say it represents... death. that's a big difference, don't you think? king arthur," the lady smiled at him.
at the moment it seems like the attention was off of us as people stopped to greet princess elizabeth and other royalty that had come by.
before they could blink, i took arthur's place and pushed him behind me.
just as i did, i felt a sharp pain in my abdomen.
i felt blood trickle into my mouth but quickly swallowed it down.
i grabbed the lady's arm as she had just jabbed a dagger inside of my stomach.
"lucky for you, we're at the festival so i don't want to cause a scene but... if i were you i'd find somewhere to hide before i catch you," i whispered.
the girl smirked at me and suddenly her face changed and my eyes widened.
melascula.
"zeldris is waiting for you," she giggled softly.
i felt myself freeze in place, what should i do?
the man beside her placed a hand on my shoulder.
"i don't think fighting us would do you any good."
his face contorted just as hers had done and my heart dropped.
estarossa.
he was here as well?
who else was here?
"where is he?" i spat.
melascula chuckled.
"as if we'd ever tell you."
that was enough to set me over the edge.
my hand shot up and suddenly it was inside of her chest, wrapping sweetly around one of her hearts.
"i said... where is he?"
i felt my anger begin to grow as my demon side began to come out.
i refuse to let zeldris get the best of me once again.
suddenly estarossa lifted his leg, shoving me back so hard that i flew right into meliodas.
luckily just as he had done that i never released my grip on melascula's heart and i slowly crushed it in my hands.
"secure king arthur," i said in my intercom.
meliodas looked at me with worry but before i could even process it, i was running back towards the two.
i removed the dagger from my abdomen and used it against the two.
i had managed to slice estarossa's face but suddenly melascula grabbed my arm and with her magic she slammed me into the ground.
