The tense air of the police station weighed heavy on the usually somewhat bustling atmosphere, the most recent murder case unsettling all the officers. Paris had gone five solid years without a homicide case only for the peace to be disrupted by this particularly disturbing case.

Captain Raincomprix tread through the Police station observing his subordinates rush around trying to get the work that the recent case had created done, from gathering witness statements to managing the new addition of paperwork from the mayor on top of the new case file that needed to be dealt with, but he had slightly more pressing matters to attend to involving the new detective who would be working with his department.

He had yet to meet this new detective as upon their arrival in Paris the body was reported so they never got time to become fully acquainted. He heard from the other officers that the foreign officer rushed to the scene to aid the investigation already on the scene before most of his boys got there, taking over the investigation without question.

The new officer did indeed exhibit the proactiveness and initiative a lawkeeper should have. Their adaptability shone in how they blended into the new environment in the case of an emergency. The Captain could tell that this foreign officer was not new to this scene, and was well versed with the pressure and tension that came with dealing with crime as well as the responsibility that came with the job. He couldn't wait to meet this officer who had already made it into his good books without ever laying an eye on them, he was curious from the moment their obscure transfer documents hit his desk.

He made it to the once-vacant office where the newest addition to his investigation team would be located. The once-blank label on the door now read
'Detective DelRossa.'
He could see the blurred silhouette of 'DelRossa' behind the frosted glass of the door. He rapped at the door readjusting his blue cap before waiting a second and entering not caring to await an answer.

"Detective DelRossa!" Police Captain Raincomprix spoke on entry.

"Captain." The man answered from where he stood hunched over at his desk, looking down at some case files from what he assumed was the recent murder. DelRossa was wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up that hung over some black combat cargo trousers. From this angle, the Captain could only see the other's unruly short brown hair.

"Good to finally be meeting you." The Captain proclaimed observing the seemingly unconcerned officer before him feeling disrespected. After two heavy seconds of silence, the officer at the desk tilted his head up slightly to the left observing the other officer that stood in his room seeming bored and annoyed, sighing before standing up straight to look the Captain in the eye properly.

"The pleasure is mine." His deep gruff voice uttered monotoned as well as lacking sincerity.

DelRossa stood tall, definitely taller than Captain Raincomprix making him almost glad the other didn't come closer to shake hands which was usually the respectful thing to do. His hands were shoved in his pocket as he looked down at the red-haired officer. Something he did not take too kindly to.

"I hope we will be able to work together from now on." The Captain asserted indirectly letting the other know that the solo stunt he had pulled earlier was not going to run again. At least not under his command. Once he had gotten it off his chest the Captain took his leave going to get some of his paperwork done and see what on earth Mayor Bourgeois could need.

"Mr. Gray! We'll need to do another test run on the audio equipment," The director yelled up to the stage where the young star was standing with a microphone in front of him.
"Alright! Which song?" "The opening cover. Every time you hit the note the mic cuts off slightly, we need to try to regulate it." Elias was quite bored of this already. He had been asked to do the opening song for the program the Bourgeois were having. They needed someone to 'set the vibe' and chose Elias as he was apparently the epitome of a classy gent with an alternative flair, in the words of Madame Audrey, and to add to that she made him pick from a list of songs he could cover as he disagreed to singing his own songs at anything but his concerts FOR FREE.
