"Ms. Dupain-Cheng, give your insight on this design for the new summer line."
"Well, I think that the designs are a bit too conservative and constricting for the summertime."
Marinette stared intensely at the design on the monitor before her.
Eyebrows furrowed as she mentally broke down the piece and rebuilt it in a manner she saw fit for the season.
"I believe we should try to incorporate more warm colors into our palette for this collection as well."
She speaks clearly and confidently.
She is no longer the clumsy girl that trips on her words when standing before an idol of hers.
Though Mr. Agreste is quite an intimidating figure, he is always open to a third party's opinion when it comes to fashion, which makes him much easier to work with.
He appreciates Marinette's talents allowing her to work almost as his educated advisor as well as a craftsman.
"I can draw up some sketches of the original outfits adding or removing certain aspects of them which I see unnecessary to the overall piece."
Marinette takes a second to ponder and regret her word choice. But there is no going back.
She waits for the man to speak through the tablet screen held up by his secretary Natalie.
"It's worth thinking about... I want to see what you have to offer this time around Ms. Dupain-Cheng. You may proceed with your idea. Bring me the final results. Good day, Ms. Dupain-Cheng."
"Thank you, Mr. Agreste. I will not fail. Until we next see."
"Yes, till then."
And with that, the device screen went black and the assistant tucked it neatly at her side, a movement so flawless it almost seemed robotic.
Most likely the result of her familiarity with the movement.
"Thank you for your time Marinette." The assistant spoke walking towards to exit of the room, the sound of her heels clanking on the tiles resounded around the room.
Before the sound of the door locking behind her gave way to silence.
The blue-haired girl felt like all the tension was finally lifted off her shoulders, releasing a long sigh, slouching in respite as she had been standing perfectly straight for the past twenty minutes.
She made her way out of the mansion's big door. She made her way over to the large gates.
They opened up letting her out onto the streets of Paris.
She looked around before hearing the rev of a motorcycle in the distance, she turned towards the sound, noticing a sleek black motorcycle pull up at the side of the road.
The biker's black helmet covered their face but their build gave away the gender of the rider.
Her eyes lit up as she walked toward the biker.
They hugged each other, greeting one another. The man handed Marinette a jet-black helmet that he had on his lap as he rode.
She could never understand how he managed to never drop it. But she does not think it is a risk to his safety nor does it seem to inconvenience his driving. So she never questions it.
He got back on the bike and gestured for her to get on too. And with that, she hopped onto the vehicle after putting her helmet on.
"The usual?"
"Nope! Today we're heading to my studio."
"New project?"
"Yep!"
"I can't wait to see what you come up with."
She smiled to herself
The man revved the engine causing her to wrap he arms around his abdomen.
"Hold on!" He said, and with that, they speeded off down the road.

They arrived at an apartment complex; Marinette removed her helmet off her head, but not without it messing her hair up.
It made Luka chuckle, he threaded his hand through his hair fixing it so it looked less "unintentional".
Marinette laughed a bit, smiling brightly. Luka has always made her feel so safe and comfortable.
Everything about him was calming to her, being around him was almost therapeutic.
She and Luka had dated in the past but now, they're just friends as they both realised how toxic their relationship was. Staying friends was one of the best decisions she's made and she's content with it.
Though, sometimes she sees how he looks at her with a certain longing in his eyes, but over the years that feeling has slowly dissipated being less noticeable.
"Thanks Luka."
"You're welcome Marinette. I'm out now."
He put his helmet back on getting on his motorcycle because revving the engine and disappearing again.
