Ruhanika found out during her college days that she had a hole in her heart.
Yuvan and Akshit, as usual, dropped by to see her again, but this time they were heading out on a mission after their visit.
Akshit was sitting on the chair in Ruhanika's hostel room when suddenly his eyes accidentally fell upon a paper peeking out from under the bed. This made him confused, but curiosity peaked, leading him to pull out the paper from under the mattress. After reading the hospital information mentioned at the top of it, he automatically pulled out the paper and read each detail, discovering a hole in Ruhanika's heart.
He's blaming himself for not prioritising her and sending her to a hostel at a young age, which resulted in this situation. His thoughts were interrupted when Ruhanika calmly took the paper from his hand, understanding that he was likely panicking inside. He led her out of the room by taking her hand.
she just made him sit on the bed and gently held his hand while wiping away his tears, which actually made her chuckle lightly.
"I am in contact with Doctor Akshu Bhai-sa."
Ruhanika let out a little laugh as he sniffed, using her dupatta to wipe his nose.
"No, let's go back."
He said adamantly, making Ruhanika sign, which made her again make him sit on the bed.
"Bahut mehnat kiya hai aap dono ne is din ka."
(I can see how hard both of you have worked for this day!)
Ruhanika was totally on board with their revenge plan and today's mission. She was all for them going ahead and getting payback on Geoneka for making their life hell. Before they could update Yuvan, who had gone to take care of Ruhanika's fees and stuff, he found out about some important details for today's mission while on a call. Apparently, both him and Akshit needed to be there.
Ruhanika just gave him a tight hug after Yuvan told Akshit to come down right away. She didn't want to let either of them go because of their close bond, but deep down she had a feeling that this might be their last hug. Now, seeing she join them downstairs, she had a nagging sense that something bad was about to happen - a feeling she always gets before their missions.
She assured Akshit that she had been checking with the doctor periodically and was told that surgery might be necessary if the medicine didn't work. Before Niranjana or Yuvan could find out about her heart condition, Akshit passed away, which she came to know from them.
"Please bhai, I'm worried about her fragile heart and the impac__t it could have if she finds out about my condition. I beg you to save he___r from that pain by keeping it a secre___."
Yuvan was just sitting outside the operation theatre, hearing those words again, tears rolling down his cheeks silently. He was trying to be strong, knowing he should tell Ruhanika the truth, but he couldn't break the promise he made to his brother, Akshit.
