"Curious to know, what is the reason behind the boss wanting to meet me?"
Curiously, Sahil mumbled, he made his way towards Yuvan Shekhawat's cabin to find out the reason for his call.
Upon leaving Yuvan's cabin, Sahil headed back to his place but accidentally collided with someone, causing both of them to fall to the floor. As Sahil snapped out of his daze, he noticed the weight on him and realised that the person on top of him was none other than Ms. Pragya Chauhan.
They both slowly turned to the side after breaking eye locks, sensing a constant gaze fixed on them. Sahil gulped and tried to communicate through his eyes, but Jeevika just shook her head innocently and then raised her eyebrows playfully, teasing him.
"Hey Jeevika, how are you?"
"Surprise to see you here - I was expecting our last meeting to be during the interview."
Pragya shook her head while still lying on top of him whereas Jeevika casually took a seat beside them, folding her legs in an Indian style.
"Where've you been?"
"I went on a trip with my grandma right after the interview, still unsure about whether I'd land the job or not. I really didn't want to miss the trip. When I got back, I was surprised to find out that I got the job and even started right before the party!"
Jeevika couldn't believe it when she saw Pragya, and she totally mouthed an 'O' shape of shock, forgetting that she was right there in the middle of the corridor next to Sahil and Pragya, who were all cosy on top of each other.
"If we had met sooner, we would totally be best buds by now."
Pragya confidently stated that Sahil felt her body relax instantly as she comfortably lay on him.
"Time isn't running out yet, we still have a chance to make things right and be best buds, don't you think Sahil?"
Jeevika just casually asked, as if she had completely forgotten that she was sitting on the floor in the middle of the freaking office work, not at some Ganga Ghat for chilling out.
"Let's kick things off first by hanging out___."
"There's still a lot of time for you both to talk, but now, for God's sake, get up from me first!"
Pragya got interrupted by a really angry Sahil, who was lying there looking annoyed. She quickly moved away from him with the assistance of Jeevika, who couldn't help but chuckle at the situation. Sahil left after giving them a stern look, and Pragya and Jeevika exchanged glances before shrugging and walking away together.
Jeevika popped into Yuvan's cabin after lunch and caught him going through some files while lounging in a fancy chair with his right foot propped up on his left knee. She had the sudden urge to snuggle up to him and cozied up in the warm room. Walking casually over to him, she gently took his hand, causing him to turn his full attention towards her. She kicked off her flats, settled herself on his lap with her legs to one side, and gave him a warm hug.
