Over time, the duration extended to months, yet Jeevika's melancholy persisted. She predominantly occupied herself by frequenting the terrace or secluding herself in her room. Eventually, she sought solace in Yuvan's comforting embrace at the hospital, only to subsequently withdraw into silence. The transformation of the once chirpy and giggling lady into a silent figure of sadness is concerning. The once lively and cheerful woman had transformed into one of profound sorrow.

Jeevika had always been the vibrant heartbeat of their home; her laughter a melody that filled every corner but after the miscarriage, a heavy silence settled in. The once-bright spark in her eyes had dimmed, replaced by a haunting emptiness. She withdrew from everyone, cocooning herself in a world of sorrow, the weight of her loss pressing down on her fragile spirit.

Yuvan watched helplessly, feeling his own heart shatter a little more each day. He saw the silent tears that fell when she thought no one was looking, the way she flinched at the sight of children or the mention of motherhood. His grief was just like hers. He didn't know how to bring them closer again.

Yuvan is worried about the way they used to share their dreams, fears, and laughter. The distance between them now reflects unspoken pain and the shadow of missed opportunities. He desperately wants to reach out to her, hold her, and convey that they can tackle this situation together. However, whenever he attempts to do so, his words fail him, tangled in his own distress.

Their home, once a haven of love and joy, now felt like a mausoleum of broken dreams; in the stillness of the night, when the world was asleep, Yuvan could hear Jeevika's muffled sobs - each one a dagger to his heart, each one a reminder of their shared loss and the fragility of hope.

Yuvan watched with worry as another flicker of hope arose when he anticipated Jeevika would finally speak to him. His fingers moved mechanically as he buttoned up his shirt, all the while his eyes fixed on Jeevika emerging from the bathroom; yet she didn't once glance in his direction. The constant ignoring left him feeling dejected as he observed her getting ready and then eventually leaving without a word.

"Suno."

(Listen.)

The moment Jeevika turned around, she observed him in the mirror as he accidentally broke his shirt button, prompting her to gaze at him in astonishment.

"Jara isse lagana toh."

(Just put it on.)

Jeevika went up to him with the needle and thread ready to fix the button. She held out her hand for him to give her the button. After she fastened it on his shirt, she leaned in and started stitching, stealing glances at his face while he stared back at her, making her feel a bit nervous with his intense gaze. As she was sewing, she suddenly stopped as he reached out his rough hand towards her bare waist peeking out from her saree.
