Match day:

"Morning" the Irish smiled whilst walking past me, I turned my head slightly

"Morning to you too McCabe"

I hear a small laugh

"Last names huh?" She shouted as she was now across the hallway "okay miss Hall"

I then laugh to myself before turning the corner and going into the Medic room, I was having treatment for a slight pain in my left calf that was slowing me down slightly, I was told it was nothing to worry about and it would get better.

"Morning Amelia " Leah said as I bent over her long body stretched on the leather bed as she was getting treatment for the same thing, I hugged her before laying down on a separate one placed next to her

"Morning Leah, you excited for the game?" I ask as the physiotherapist begins massaging the pain

"Of course" she says taking a picture of me without notice

"That's good to hear" I groan as she properly rubs it

After a couple more minutes I was finally finished and got of the bed, I then made my way to the locker room to get my pre match stuff on, all the other girls were there and I greeted them.

I then tie my hair in a pony tail and put my sliders on as we had to get an hour coach, I was not looking forward to it.

The girls are always so loud when it comes to the coach, no matter where I go I get roped into karaoke or games that only Jen can win.

I then grab my kit bag and make my way out do the training center and onto the coach, slowly it begins to fill up and Alessia, Leah and Katie all sit down on the table with me.

I smell coffee.

It's Katie's, and it's going to be mine.

Slowly I reach my hand over whilst she's talking to Beth from the over table and take it. I put it up to my mouth and take a big sip before slowly returning it. Alessia and Leah keep their mouths shut and it was mission accomplished.

Some time goes by and soon the karaoke begins, i slouch down in my seat and put my air pods in. Slowly my vision fades and I fall asleep leaning against Alessia's shoulder.

Stadium:

I wake up to flashing lights, the girls all scramble to their seats after seeing my eyes open. I knew they were taking pictures but i couldn't be bothered to tell them to delete them, I grab my stuff and make my way out the coach and I hear the roar of arsenal fans waiting for us by the gates.

Today we were playing my old team, Manchester city.

Not only that, it meant I'd be seeing Lauren Hemp; the one person I'd tried to run away from.

I sign some stuff and take a few pictures before walking through the entrance and to our Locker room. I put my shoes on and tie the laces before walking out to do warm ups before the girls.

I did some sprints and stretches, trying to block out the Man city fans who were booing me. I expected them to, after all I did tell them I was Man city for life then left 3 months later. Of course, they don't know the true reason behind it. They don't know what actually happened between me and Lauren, how she'd always pull me aside and beg for me back.

It was mentally draining so when arsenal presented me a contract for 3 years my mind was already made up.

"Amelia.." I hear the one woman's voice i was hoping to avoid; the one woman's voice who made me go to therapy because I was told by Garett it was mandatory.
