Maddie POV
My real name is Olivia Madeleine Young. I usually just go by Maddie, though, because I don't like my first name. And my middle name is too long. I currently have one week left of my freshman year of high school, and then comes summer break! Yay for spending two months staying inside and doing nothing! Yeah, I kind of have no life. I have only one friend that goes to my school, and the rest of my friends, well, I met them through the internet. It's just that no one I know in real life actually gets me, y'know? Plus, internet friends are way better. It's easier to find people who like the same things you do, which for me would be: O2L, O2L, and O2L. Just kidding. (Well, not really.) Of course I love other important things like Netflix and food, but O2L has been a huge part of my life for about a year and a half now. I've struggled with depression and anxiety for around 2 years, and watching their videos makes me feel better every time I feel down. O2L pretty much saved me, just like so many other fans. And just like my friends.
Like I said, O2L means the world to me. Even though they broke up six months ago, they didn't really break up nor will they ever actually break up. They just discontinued videos on their collab channel...they'll always be O2L...no, I'm not crying, you're crying. I love each member, and I've never really thought about having a "favorite" until recently since I'm equally grateful to all of them for making my days brighter. But I noticed I started paying more attention to Trevor. I think it's the smile. Every time he smiles, it puts a smile on my face. I can't help it, he's just so damn cute. And talented. And funny. And sweet. And has the most gorgeous eyes. And did I mention cute?
Anyways, my birthday is in two weeks and I'm turning fifteen. I'm pretty excited about it for once. My mom promised me something that I'd been wanting for ages, according to her. But that could mean a lot of things. A puppy? A trip to Hawai'i, maybe? I don't know. There's a lot of things that I want in life. Well, I guess I'll have to wait until the tenth of July to find out.
Little did I know at the time, the gift my mom had in mind would completely change my life.
