The entire neighbourhood came together to celebrate Karsh's fifth year birthday. Each family brought a delicious dish to Karsh's house. Karsh's mom, Srinya Volav prepared Finger millet pudding. His dad, Thyan Volav had bought a small piece of land under Karsh's name and had built a toolshed, which he gifted to Karsh. He might be too young to actually grow anything there, but it will surely make him love growing plants.
"I can't believe five years passed so quickly", said Daki Youl- Karsh's close friend Jay Youl's mom.
"That's true. He was learning to crawl in front of my eyes which still feels like a few days ago", said Yiba Makiri- another neighbour aunt.
Srinya divided all the food and served them to all the guests there. They were more like a family than just neighbours. Makiri's Vegetable noodles, Youl's stuffed bread, Huot's Cream soup, Talfi's Fruit salad, Mihil's Jeera rice, Kriup's Potato pops and Volav's Millet pudding. The plates were so diverse. The enchanting aroma of the food made all of their mouths water.
