"Katniss?" A voice asked, it made a little girl shake her head to resume to reality, she looked up. "Ya?" She asked.

A hand reached her shoulder, "do you know who this is?" The voice asked the girl who looked up at what they had gathered around.

Her little eyes lit up. "Yeah! Haymitch Abernathy, he ended the games all those years ago!" She squealed. "Right Dad?" She asked.

"You are right, but he isn't just a Victor. He is a friend." The voice, revealed to be Mr. Everdeen, seemed at ease.

"Will I ever meet him?" Katniss asked. "Yes. Come along now Katniss." Mr. Everdeen ushered her forward. The girl hopped away, and Mr. Everdeen looked back at the statue. A small smile apppeared on his face before he followed his bubbly little daughter.
