Blaze nervously stepped out of the car. Her gaze flirted across the crowd of people. They turned and their eyes widened as they watched her. Blaze grunted and took a step forwards. She was aware of the eyes on her tail and ears. She just huffed; like huffing her nerves away. She lifted her chin, walking confidently forwards. She locked eyes with Alex.
"Alex!" She called. Alex was wearing his beanie and a tail.
"Freaks." A boy sneered.
"Shut it, Bill." Alex snapped, before weaving in between the crowd to reach Blaze. She hugged him, and they walked in together.
"Alpha and his kitten." A girl laughed.
"Now now, Emma." Alex shushed her, shoving his hand into her face. The girl just glared at him. This school was a bit better. No beatings as soon as she took a step into the building. She flicked her fingers, trying to ignore the stares. Blaze then looked and saw a strong, muscular guy to the right. He looked powerful, with a group of friends surrounding him. He stared at her, his blue eyes curious. She just looked away.
"That was jack. Don't fall for him, he gets dared to date every girl and somehow does it." Alex whispered, yet blaze felt warmed by jack's warm and curious gaze. She nodded, knowing Alex was probably right. She kept walking, nearing her classroom. She only had a half day, so it was alright. They walked into the classroom, and she instantly sat down, not wanting to be standing for too long. She knew the desk was hers because of the massive label on top of it. It was hard to ignore. French. She had always hated French.
"Ah, Blaze! Let's get you a French name. Eh.. yes, yes what... um. Marie!" The teacher said in her strong French accent.
"Yeah.." Blaze mumbled, "why do I need a French name?"
"Never question Mrs smith!" The teacher snapped, stomping her foot and slamming her ruler against the desk. Blaze flinched, a little shaky. Then Mrs Smith turned and began teaching. Blaze grunted, slouching in her chair. One more lesson and I'm out, thank god. And I don't even have to do it, because I don't have pe kit. Yes, thank the lord! But I don't believe in god. Hm, what do I believe in? I guess spirits, and Mother Nature. But then again, that's kinda pressure from those therians who think that's everything. I guess I just treasure Mother Nature and suppose there might be spirits.
"Marie, marie!" Mrs smith yelled, snapping her fingers, "answer the question!"
"Si." Blaze said confidently, "wait... si."
"Si! Did you just? Si? No, Marie!" The French teacher growled, her face basically next to Blaze's.
"I'm not Marie. Get away! I'm leaving." Blaze huffed, holding in the anger and tears building up inside of her. She got up to leave, angry to see Mrs smith in the way.
"Let me go!" Blaze screeched. She felt 'fur' bristle along her spine.
"You animal! Sit back down, now Marie!" Mrs smith screamed back.
"Get out of my way, now!"
"No!" Mrs smith grunted in a heavy French accent.
"F%ck off!" Blaze grumbled, pushing the teacher away and running out into the hallway. Mrs smith stared after her, just stood there. She ran through the empty hallway, not sure where to go. Blaze turned a sharp right into the girls toilet and stared into her reflection. She had just only held in her tears. She let out a sob and felt all the tears drop down her face. She then looked up and saw behind her in the mirror; Emma. She smiled and bashed Blaze's head into the mirror with a sick laugh. Blaze felt drained. Then she grumbled, fighting against it as a new energy lifted inside of her. She twisted around and pushed Emma backwards. She ignored the pain of the wound on her head. She growled as she scrambled in a desperate effort with Emma. They slapped and kicked eachother to the ground, wrestling around. She grabbed Emma's hair and yanked on it, causing a chunk of her hair to rip out. Emma screeched in terror and pain, punching rapidly at Blaze. Blaze launched her legs into Emma's stomach, winding her and knocking her backwards. She lay on the floor, panting. Blaze rushed forwards and kicked her before wiping the blood from her head and staggering out of the bathroom. She felt tired and lightheaded as she barely walked, clumsily falling randomly in the hallway. She grabbed her head and felt the world spin around her. Everything was going dark. Then she heard the sound of the bell. She let out a small hiss of pain as the bleeding continued. She blinked her eyes open weakly to see the school nurses rushing towards her. Blaze was safe. She closed her eyes again, still feeling the harsh sting of the wound. It gnawed at her head, and she felt like she was stuck in a nightmare. She felt hand gently heaving her body up. She felt the ground disappear as she was carried away.

"Gfuhh..." she mumbled, opening her eyes slowly. That wasn't the nurse's office, nor was it home. It was the hospital. Her head still hurting.
"We should've never sent you to school." A voice whispered, but she couldn't tell who said it with how dizzy she was.
"My head.." she choked out, grabbing it and whining softly.
"You were attacked? You didn't attack back, did you?" The voice whispered softly.
"Dad..." she muttered, "yes... I did. I only pulled out some of her hair.."
"Now now, that's okay. Let's just rest Blaze. Your little sister will be visiting tonight, isn't that nice? She's really worried for you, blaze. You had some glass in your head, too. The nurses took it out." Her dad sighed.
"I want gone home." She muttered, not making sense of her words anymore.
"That's gonna take some time, but we probably will go home soon." Her dad mumbled, stroking her hair gently, "the nurses liked your tail."
"Really?" She squealed, before wincing in pain.
"That makes you so happy, but yes, actually." Her father piped in. She looked at him, and saw her little sister staring at her with a troubled gaze.
"Are you okay?" Ellie sobbed, leaning into her and crying.
"I'm sure I'm fine, Ellie." Blaze whispered, fighting the pain to kiss her head. Ellie smiled, still crying.
"I love you, Blaze. You'll look cool with a scar." Ellie sniffed back, wiping her tears.
"You think?" Blaze yawned back, patting Ellie's head, "guess we might have to stay a while now."
"But it's nothing we can't handle. There's a swimming pool that I was gonna surprise you with but girls are just um.. mean." Her father grumbled, scratching his head, "guess I'll have to swim now." He added, acting out swimming with his arms. Blaze let out a small chuckle, leaning back into her pillow and shutting her eyes.
