Charlie heard voices away from her, in a distance. She slowly opened her eyes and for her surprise, she wasn't seeing anything. She even blinked a few times to be sure she actually opened her eyes, since everything was black. She slowly got up, the best she could, since she couldn't have guidance where she was. Which was odd, because she could see in the dark but right now she couldn't see anything.

A creak sound echoed in that room. A door was opening and just a bit of light was passing through it. It was enough for Charlie to follow it.

Once she got closer to it, she opened the door and entered into the blindly light.

She had to protect her eyes with her hand in front of it. As her eyes got used to it, she blinked a few times to unblurry her vision. As she finally could see properly, she was again at the same street she was a few dreams ago.

Alastor's voice echoed again... The same dialogue between him and his mother.

Charlie touched him again and he looked at her for a moment until he kept talking to his mother.

"Why is... This happening?" She asked herself while extremely intrigued by the whole thing. Why was she having the same dream over and over again? And why did it feel so real?...

Charlie was following Alastor this time, without touching his shoulder or trying to talk to him. She was just nearby him. As soon as he entered the alley, something blocked Charlie from continuing. It was like she collapsed into an invisible wall.

She tried to peek through it but the alley was dark.

A few moments later, a light came from it with a loud sound and scream.

"Al?!" Charlie knocked the invisible wall.

"ALASTOR?" She seemed worried and she was. She heard a cry, a very low cry almost like a whisper. She felt something warm under her feet. When she looked down, there was a kind of thick liquid, dark red, it was making its way to the street.

"AL?!" She kept punching the wall. Was he ok? What just happened? She kept punching more and more until the wall broke and she felt the bed moving.

A jump, that's how Charlie woke up. Alastor jumped in bed, sitting on his bed and panting.

Charlie blinked a few times and shoved her hand over the bed. Was she truly awake this time? Or was it a dream inside the dream? For a moment she thought she saw something glowing red nearby Alastor's face. But she couldn't say for sure if it was her imagination or not, neither see exactly what it was.

He was holding the sheets strongly, while looking down at it and trying to regain air into his lungs.

"Al?" Charlie sat over the bed, placing her hand over his shoulder which made him look abruptly at her. She jumped back, because she wasn't expecting such a reaction.

"It's me... Charlie... Are you okay?" She had her hands near her own face, showing her palms for Alastor as if she wanted to show him that she didn't want to hurt him.

"I-... Yes..." Alastor placed his shaking hand over his forehead and then pulling his hair back.

"Nightmare?" She looked concerned and slowly went behind him. She placed her hand over his shoulder again, now that he looked calmer.

He nodded, caressing his own forehead and face as he tried to wake up more.

"It's okay, I'm here with you." She slowly slid her hand down, until passing her hand under his armpit to place her hands over his chest. She was hugging him from behind and giving a little kiss over his shoulder.

"I'm here." She said again.

From the deep of Alastor's heart, something was telling him to go hunt, he needed the adrenaline in his body, but he couldn't do it with Charlie there. It was starting to get dark, since they napped in the afternoon.
