Imani, Kirk, and Ratrez was still standing with each other chattin' while I stood in line waiting to pay and then some random african dude walked up to them. I guess he another fan, he was smilling and dapping Ratrez and Kirk up and then switched his gaze to Imani.

Zu: Hey Imani, I'm Zuberi, but you can call me Zu.
He smilled and winked at her and then reached his hand out to grab her hand, for a handshake. Imani's eyebrows scrunched up and she took a step back.
Imani: Wassup Zu. I don't do handshakes.
Zu: How about a hug then? You're looking really beautiful today and I'm a big fan of your father..
Kirk stood there with his arms folded stroking his chin trying to read this Zu nigga and wait to react. Ratrez on the other hand, stepped forward and put his hand on dude shoulder and shook his head.

Imani stood there and looked him up and down and rolled her neck, communicating the same message with her facial expressions. Glad I just paid for the shoes. I'm sick of watching this interaction from afar.

I walked behind Imani with the bag of shoes in my left hand and used my right to wrap around her waist, bringing my front to her back for a tight hug as I gave her a smooch on the neck.
Ratrez tapped on Kirk shoulder non-chalantly, to leave the store so I could take over from here. We'll follow behind them in just a second. Dude just standing there confused.
