they spent two solid weeks in the city of cirteska, in that time, fuyuhito had learned the devout loyalty of the entire garrison, there was an uproar when he was relieved by his replacement, major alfred dullahan
but he was needed elsewhere, he would see the people of this garrison again though, of that he made a promise
fuyuhito and lysseilia had jumped from world to world in the cerulean system, visiting the cerulean capital of krivale several times, in that time they both got experience lysseilia got experience with out of the box thinking that fuyuhito was starting to become known for, and fuyuhito was getting command and riding experience, he had led several dragoon squads into several different battles some wins some losses, he made several mistakes over the year, though a glaring one, was in lysseilia herself, and his lack of noticing the obvious
but that is for later, as of right now, fuyuhito and lysseilia had reported to the station over krivale, to receive new orders, it was time to retrieve unit-01
"do to the sensitivity of the situation, we are leaving all decisions related to the recovery of his blade, up to the major himself, once you set out you will be on your own until your return to archonis territory, your ship has been prepared with two months of supplies we hope you are not gone that long but as it is in another galaxy numerous things could happen, when you return your to report to telivyria, your father has pulled some strings to get you stationed there for a time, probably to meet the good major, good luck to the both of you" the marshal said, we saluted and went down to port to board the thanatos
"your excellency, we are prepped and ready to depart" the guard at the docking port said
"thank you ensign, we should be off then" i said, as we boarded the ship, and made our way to the bridge
"captain on deck" lysseilia called as everyone stood, this time however it was a choice, they made in respect to the commanding officer, as opposed to just military regulation
"stations, please" i said
in preparation for the mission i had told my crew my full history, including my old name, they took it exceedingly well to my relief, lysseilia flat out looked enraged, not at me but at them, something i had to clarify, i didn't want any confusion to happen when we went to reclaim my EVA, i was glad i held their loyalty, they seemed infact to not care whatsoever for what happened, much to my relief
"helm prepare for translight warp" i said
"aye sir, warp engines prepared for maximum velocity, helm standing by" the helmsman said
"thank you corporal, take us out one quarter impulse" i said
"aye sir, one quarter impulse" she said as the ship slowly left dock and pull around
"maximum speed corporal, initiate" i said, as the ship jumped to warp
"we will be at maximum velocity, in two minutes forty-three seconds" the corporal said, once we were at maximum speed, i placed my hand on the right hand console, and opened a channel
"all hands this is the captain, we are about to begin AT-jump procedures, all hands to condition-zero stations" i ordered, ten minutes later all hands were reported to condition zero i then concentrated on unit-13's power and summoned forth my AT-field which the thanatos flew through, a moment later the ship was dropping out of translight warp under it's own power without orders being given, this was expected
"status report" i ordered, lysseilia went to check a few minutes later she returned to me
"all personnel report in, duty chiefs report no damage" i said, i walked over to the radar officer
"let me see" i said, the man nodded and pulled up a feed, as i saw a full view of the system that our sensors were getting, i smiled
"right where we are supposed to be, hovering just over mars, helm i am sending you coordinates, set course for those coordinates warp-one, i don't want us to take forever getting there but i also don't want to overjump it" i said, as i sent the coordinates
"coordinates received, warp-one aye" she said as the ship jumped to warp
"well so far so good" i said opening a channel to the security chief
"security team to prowler alpha" i said, i nodded to lysseilia and left the bridge
