[ Lexie's pov ]

I was watching the TV for the news about on my parents . He disappeared two weeks ago when he left that night with mom .....he never returned home......and I was of course worried like hell . .....Martha too but she doesn't like to admit to anything.why bother with her ......

/commissioner Gorman on tv / 
"It's not like he punches a time clock, but I can assure you that the Gotham Police Force is more than capable of keeping this city safe. Even without a masked hero to back us up."

I narrow my eyes in thought. " it's not like he's much help as well ." Lexie says towards the tv .

Ever since they left, me and Martha have been are best to help the city sadly two little girls mascaraing as superheroes wasn't enough to protect the city even if we were trained by Batman we still needed him ..... I needed him ....it was starting to get difficult and we needed extra help unfortunately.

I turned off the tv in the living room and headed down stairs to the batcave where I watch with a little amusement as Martha  was posing as my father on the Batcomputer talking to Wayne Industries.

"Well, your trip to the rainforest seems ill-timed, Mr. Wayne. With the World Tech Summit coming up..." Ms. Bannister, who was talking to who she thought was my father gets interrupted, "It's not for another week, Ms. Bannister. We're down here studying rare herbs that could prove revolutionary for medical research." Martha  stated as she  wore a headset.

"And earn millions for our pharmaceutical interest." Lucius Fox, a friend of my father states, "All well and good. But why did you have to lead the team?" Ms. Bannister quizzes at what she thought was my father Martha annoyed and under a lot of pressure yells .

"Because it's my name that is on the company And I can what ever the hell I want ! " Martha  sassed making me laugh lightly as I watch from afar.

"You still have to answer to this board, Mr. Wayne. And frankly..." Ms. Bannister starts to talk as Martha was about to lose her cool before Zola took the headset from her .

"I think we're done here. If any of you have further concerns, bring them to Lucius. He's more than capable of handling things while I'm gone thanks and have a good day ." Zola says  before she  hangs up and Martha  sighs in exhaustion.

"Daddy makes that look so easy , I Fudging  messed up ." Martha  sighs, as I walk over and place a comforting hand on her  shoulder, making me give me a small smile, suddenly we hear a voice and  jump.

"I would work on that mouth." A  voice spoke, we look up to see it was Dick smiling down at us, "Don't want to be giving yourself away." Dick grins, I beam at him.

"Dick!" I yell in happiness, to which Dick gave me a smile back and waved down at me, "I'm sorry " Martha says embarrassed , Zola chuckles .

" do you always just pop out of nowhere." Zola asked him . " Sneaking up on people is kind of what we do around here, Zola ." Dick says

Martha  gave gave him a glare not finding it funny ,  "That's a joke." Dick assured.
"Oh geez hahahaha hashtag not amused." Martha says sarcastically

"I'm not exactly in a festive mood either." Dick replies, his expression turning serious as he leans on the railing, "How long have they  been gone?" He asks and I frown along with everyone else before Alfred comes down stairs with snacks and beverages for the girls .
