The Dangerous Play

Abby Chapter 16

"What do you think I should wear?" I said. "Did he tell you where you are going?" Mia said."No he said to just dress like me." I said. "Well that doesn't give us anything does it? For someone who doesn't really want to date him you are sure worried about your looks." Mia said. "Well I should look my best after all I am letting my brother think the baby is Ace's." I said. " You sure got yourself into some shit didn't you? I think it is pretty nice of Ace to go through this just for you when the baby isn't his and his best friend is so mad at him."Mia said. " I know right , I am not sure how I am going to fix this. My brother is so mad he came back last night and wouldn't even talk to me. He went right into his room and when I got up this morning he was already gone. I have to get him to sit down and talk about this. The baby isn't even his problem it's my problem." I said. "Yea but you know how your brother is. He just wanted you to live your dream like he did." Mia said. " I get it but shit happens and I can't sit and feel sorry for myself I need to just find a way to make all this work."I said  "Does that include maybe taking Ace up on his offer to help with the baby?"Mia said." Mia I am not sure right now. I am not going to lie I have thought about how it would be with Ace and how life would be easier. He has money and room for us. But I just don't want him to do this because he is just a great guy. I want him to do this because he feels the way I do."I said. "Well if that is the case then we need to find a nice dress and I might have just found something that will knock his socks off."Mia said. 

As I walk into the locker room after weight lifting  I see Ethan I am about to go when he says. "Oh look who it is the man whore. " " Ethan I am not getting into this with you". I said. "Why you can lie and fuck my sister and get her pregnant. And now you have nothing to say". Ethan said. " Have you even talked to Abby?" I said. "No right now I have nothing to say she slept with you and now her whole life is screwed up."Ethan said. "Oh that is a good reason not to talk to her and sit and yell at me Ethan." I said. "You better shut the hell up Ace". Ethan said."Why you're the one making her and me feel like shit. And I am sick of it. Would It really be that bad for us to be together and to raise the baby. "I said. Yea it sure would. You are a player and jump from one girl to the next. You don't even know what a relationship is. You go with the flow and right now my sister is your flow . When you get sick of her you'll dump her like the rest."Ethan said.  All I could think was how my fist hurt after I just slugged Ethan. As I was getting up he grab the back of my shirt and slammed me into the wall. I turned around and punched him right on the side of his head.Blood was pouring out of both of us to of our teams tried to hold us back. At last I said fuck you Ethan. You don't know what you are even talking about and slammed the door on my way out. Crap I have a date with Abby in about 1 hr I need to get showered and dressed. I need to make sure this is a great time for her.

As I pull up to her place I look to see if Ethan is around but I don't see his car. I walk up to the door and knock. Mia answered the door. "Well don't you clean up nicely."Mia said."Thanks". I said. As I looked up I saw Abby In a nice short black dress the back was open low and it hit just above her knees. Her hair was put up with curls coming down. I had to look twice to make sure I was looking at the same girl. "Wow you look fantastic in the dress." I said. "Thanks you don't look  bad yourself."She said.  I walked her to the car and opened the door she got in. All I could think about was how great that dress would look on my floor and her in my bed. Ace get it together you want this night to go great. As we are in the car we do small talk for most of the ride until she sees my knuckles. "Did that happen from practice?"She said. "Um I guess we could say that."I said. "What really happened? Oh! no let me guess my brother.' She said. "Yea we got into a little fight.As the car stopped at a fancy resturant. She looked up and said I can't believe you got us into Fanbo." She said. "Well of course I had to pull a few strings but anything for you. I know how much you love Italian. I said. "Oh my gosh . I have been dreaming of coming here but they are backed up for about a month. So you must have friends in high places."She said. Little does she know I own half of this place. Its somewhere I can go when I need a break from the Ice. "I know one of the owners you could say." I laughed.  "I hope one day I can meet your fancy owner.' She said. When we get to the table I help her to her seat. I sit across from her even though I want to sit right next to her. I want to make sure every man here know that she is mine tonight and if all goes well much longer. "This place is very nice and I like the light music in the background."She said. "Thanks" I say. "Thanks for what you didn't pick the music" She laughed. As I was about to say something the waiter comes and gives us the menu. He stops at me and says "hello Mr.Hamerton I'm sorry I didn't know you would be here tonight I would have made sure your table was free." " It is fine. I said  "This is a great spot". Abby said.  When the waiter left Abby turned to me and said " you must come here a lot with your other dates". "No really you are the first person I have brought here."I said. "Well then how does the waiter know you" ? She said. I don't really know maybe from hockey." I said. "Huh maybe".She said.  We ordered our food and talked some more. I asked her if she had thought about the baby and what she wanted to do. She said that she knows for sure she wants to keep it. Then I said " What are we going to do about your brother? He hates me right now and I don't want to keep lieing to him Abby.  "I know I will tell him soon I promise. She said. As I was about to ask for the check a girl walked up and started talking to me at first I didn't remember her then it clicked. "Well I fancy seeing you here tonight Ace." Mandy said. "I could say the same to you Mandy. Mandy let me introduce you to my date Abby. Abby this is Mandy." I said . "Hello". Abby said. Mandy just looked at her like she was beneath her. And I didn't like it. "Well Ace I see that you are getting desperate because I dumped you." Mandy said. "Well Mandy I don't think you can call it getting dumped when we all hung out a few times." I said. "Yea  maybe Ace but if I do recall you did say those were your best times in bed. Ace I didn't think you wanted to go out with little girls. She doesn't even look old enough. "Mandy laughed. "Mind your own Mandy she is my date and her name is Abby if you can't be civil then you can leave and never come here again." I said. Oh Ace do you really think she can give you what you need?' Mandy said. "Excuse me you don't even know who I am . And further more I am his girlfriend." Abby said. "What Ace doesn't do relationships sweetie you are just a plaything. And when you are done with this toy you have I will be more than happy to show you what this toy can still do." Mandy said. "You need to leave Sam please help Mandy here leave and make sure she never allowed in again."I said. "Yes sir'.' Sam said. "What Ace you can't do that ,you don't own this place.''Mandy said. "Oh but he does ma'ma he is half the owner."Sam said. As I turn around I see Abby in shock at what just happened and what Sam just said." Abby I am so sorry about this whole thing."I said. "Who was that Ace? Was that an old girlfriend ? And Sam just said you own this? I am so confused right now. She said. "Ok lets start with Mandy. She was some old fling that wanted more but I didn't want that with her. She keeps trying to get back with me every time she sees me. I have no feeling for her like that I won't lie the sex was good but I was young back then. For the other thing yes I do own this place I took my savings and the bonus I got for hockey  was into this place with a friend. Do you have any more questions?"I said." See this is why I have to think twice before having any kind of relationship with you. Your lifestyle isn't right for a baby I don't even think I can get used to it. You hang out with women all the time and change them like socks."She said. Oh boy this is going down hill fast thanks a lot Mandy. "Abby how many girls have you seen me with lately not any. Ever since we kissed my mind hasn't been the same. You can't tell me that you don't feel this  attraction we have its strong." I said. "I don't know Ace how many girls are going to come to the table and want you back every time we go out huh? she asked " Abby I can't pretend my past hook ups won't come out sometimes. But I can tell you that I want to see where this goes between us.I said. "Well I don't know I want to take it slow I guess." She said. The rest of dinner was nice and calm she laughed at my jokes. After dinner we went for a walk on the beach. She was about to fall and I grabbed her hand and we fell into each other's arms laughing. As I stared into eyes I felt the need to touch her my hand came up to her cheeks and pushed the hair out her face. She got on her tip toes and pulled me down to her and kissed me.
