Dating Rumours

BTS: Kim Taehyung 

Leehye's and Taehyung's relationship rumours first surfaced in 2021, with fans initially laughing it off as a mistake. However, with constant sightings of these two stars being touchy with each other to getting steamy on stage, sending subtle signals and caught many times flirting, things started looking more real. 

After a few months of calm, things further flared up for Leehye and V after new photos of them were released back-to-back on the internet. While there's no confirmation whether the photos were authentic or doctored, they definitely shocked the stars' entire fandom.

One of the pictures showed the idols posing for a cosy mirror selfie, with many BTS fans also pointing out that the backdrop was of V's flat. The second alleged photo was from Jeju Island, where V could be seen placing a kiss on Leehye's forehead. Escalated quite quickly, didn't it?

Many fans laughed it off as a matter that they were brother and sister like closest friends, so it was quite normal for them to be pecking each other. But delusional netizens said other wise.

More than their relationship, fans were concerned about Leehye's breach of privacy and how someone may have hacked into her iCloud storage and leaked these photos. Some of the netizens also debunked the photos as a hoax.

Stray Kids: Hwang Hyunjin

On 2022, BTS's Eleven and Stray Kids' Hyunjin, shocked the internet with the revelation by a South Korean media outlet, Dispatch Korea, that the two were in a relationship. Fans went into a frenzy after the dating confirmation since the couple was barely spotted together with not many hints pointing at the legitimacy of their relationship.

Additionally, Dispatch Korea also revealed that the actor would often visit the idol's home with food, would also take her on drives, and spend quality time with her

Given that many dating rumors sparked between Kim Leehye and Cha Eunwoo  due to their undeniable chemistry during the filming of their K-drama series, Seventh Miracle, several news outlets, and netizens were eager to learn the actor's reaction to the same.

As fans continued to cherish the couple, their activity and news together comparatively reduced. Just when fans started to speculate if the relationship between Leehye and Hyunjin had already come to an end, JBTC, South Korean TV network, released an article revealing the two's busy schedules had resulted in their breakup. HYBE LABELS  confirmed the speculations through their statement.

Given that it has only been about six months since the dating confirmation between the two celebrities, Eleven and Hyunjin, fans empathized with them while they were also naturally upset at the breakup news of the iconic couple.

Western Singer: Shawn Mendes

Kim Leehye was shipped with Shawn Mendes due to their collaboration, twice -- one for Leehye's solo album and one for Shawn's.

During the filming of their music video, fans noticed the undeniable chemistry between the two international stars. However, Mendes and Leehye themselves had confirmed that there was nothing more than friends, and that "she would never do that to Camilla, she's like my sister"

While their confirmation regarding this news, fans still did not stop shipping the two famous singers. So BIG HIT Entertainment released an official statement in January 2023 confirming that these relationship rumours were fake, and that they were nothing more than good friends.

Cha Eunwoo: Astro

The ship between these two set sail when they acted together in the award winning Kdrama, Seventh Miracle. Fans noticed their chemistry on set and how they would blush at each other even at the smallest compliments. Just after the full release of 'Seventh Miracle', Hybe Labels confirmed the dating rumours between Cha Eunwoo and Kim Leehye and said

"Cha Eunwoo and Kim Leehye are officialy dating"

During an interview with radio host, the K drama star revealed that Leehye was his celebrity crush. For quite a while, Leehye was adamant that Eunwoo was more like a brother than a boyfriend, and even when they were spotted on what was reported as a "cuddly" date at an Han River in Korea .

Three weeks later, the pair were photographed sharing a not-so-innocent New Year's Eve kiss on a cruise ship, confirming what everyone already suspected — they were a couple.

In 2023, Eunwoo and Leehye, much to the internet's delight. Following four months of hockey dates, bike rides, and church services, both went on a break that eventually turned into a breakup in November 2023.
