Chapter 4

I fell on to my bed with exhaustion. He is the most dumbest person I have ever known. It makes me so irritated.
Ok I need to calm down, I need those ten extra points to get into a good university. I drifted off to sleep just thinking about my father and how much I have missed him.

"Yes mum I know....yes I got the eggs and I will home in 20 minutes, i really need a car mum". I said to my mother on the phone but I knew she had already hung up, as I walked home from the grocery store.
It was winter now so it's pitch black except for a few city lights.
Everything was so quiet it was starting to scare me.
" please have mercy, I will get the money to you when I can" I heard a man's pleading voice which made me feel sorry for him.
I followed the sound and it was a dark ally way.
I peeked around the wall only to see a man being held up by his neck on the wall by none other than Bane Ryder.
I was so scared that he was going to kill the poor man, that I didn't realise that I said something next.
" Bane, please don't hurt him, your better than this" I said quietly.
Both heads snapped towards my direction.
Roe, you need to leave NOW!" He yelled at me.
" No!" I said.
" god why are you so stubborn roe, I'm not joking please leave" he said his voice sounded tired.
"Please let him go" I said in a terrified voice, I was so disgusted with my desperate voice.
The man took this opportunity to punch Bane on the face multiple times and to kick him in the stomach over and over again. And then he ran into the night.
I kept staring into the darkness in which I saw the man last. I was snapped out of my daze when I heard groaning.
My phone rang and I quickly answered it.
"Yes mum"?? I said into the phone.
"I'm going out with a couple of friends and won't be back till tomorrow, bye I will see you tomorrow" she replied ending the call.
I looked down and snapped back into reality.
I rushed over to Bane and helped him, I led him to my house.
When we got inside I took him up to my room and laid him on the bed while I quickly ran and got a wet cloth and some of the stuff that helps with this.
" can you please pull of your shirt so I can clean your cuts" I said.
He did as I instructed while I dabbed the cloth at his bare chest.
" this is all my fault" I said to myself while cleaning his cuts.
Bane lifted my head up with his hand and looked me in the eyes.
" don't ever say that again, little girlie"he said sounding really tired.
After I finished, I let him drift off to sleep.
I went downstairs and started to cook some food for when he would wake up.
This was all my fault if only I didn't get involved.
