(Stop this is based on a true event and I cried when I came home yesterday after the dance because of what happened and don't ask but for some reason the dance was winter themed)
Y/n's pov
"Bestie you're going to the dance right?" Tati asked. "Yea I don't know why tho" I said. "I can't wait for the dance I have a pretty white dress" she said looking at a poster for the dance.
"Lame" Frankie said. "Be nice she's excited for the dance" I said. "Why the hell is it winter themed even tho it's damn near summer?" Fankie complained but she has a point.
"Honestly I don't know but I have a light blue dress I was supposed to wear to the Christmas dance back in December but I ended up getting sick" I said. "Damn I remember" she said.
"That's when nelson got with Samantha" I said sighing looking at them as they were across from us at Samantha's locker. That was supposed to be my man.
I looked back at Frankie who was looking at me. "It's ok dance with jax" she said. "Uh no that's my man and her cousin" Tatiana said. "Hell dance with me" Frankie said.
"Ok Frankie" I said. We walked to class and sat in the back. (Rosa Parks is disappointed y/n). "Ok class as you know the dance is tonight" the teacher said. "Boo" I yelled.
"Y/n would you like to attend the office?" The teacher asked. "No sir" I said. "Ok then" he said. Nelson then walked in late. "Neumann you're late" the teacher said.
"Well Mister lang did you have a girlfriend back in 8th grade?" Nelson asked. "Yes" mister lang said. "Did you walk her to class?" He asked. "Yes" he said again.
"Let me walk to to class" Frankie blurted out making the class laugh. "Ok then you know why I was late" nelson said sitting next to me making me roll my eyes. He's not funny.
"Why do you roll your eyes when I sit next to you?" He asked. I just shrugged and looked at the board. "Frankie tell me" nelson said. "I don't know, ask her" she said getting her pencil.
Mister lang started talking about the dance and I rolled my eyes as I heard Nelson and Jax talking about something I wasn't paying attention until I heard my name making me look at them.
But they were already looking at me. "What the fuck are y'all looking at?" I asked. "Nothing who pissed in your Cheerios?" Jax said. "Ya mama now fuck off" I said looking back to the front.
Time skip
"Frankie I'm so happy you're getting ready with us" Tatiana said. "Tati love stop moving before I burn you" I said. "Oh right sorry" she said. She's happy because she has a date.
"Y/n I'll finish her hair you get ready then I'll do it" Frankie said. "Ok thanks" I said grabbing my dress and walking to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and examined myself.
Why did Nelson choose her? What's wrong with me? My thoughts were interrupted by Frankie. "Y/n you done?" She asked. "No" I said quickly putting my dress on.
I walked out the bathroom and the girls looked at me in shock. "If you went to the Christmas dance Nelson would've been yours" Tatiana said. "He still can" Frankie said sitting me in a chair.
Time skip
"Finally your hair took forever for 2 people" Tatiana said. "That's guys but I wanna see" I said. "Ok here" Frankie said giving me a mirror.
