𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘐 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳?...

I sighed as I rubbed my tired eyes
What was even the point of this?
The only thing writting in this dumb book is doing is making me more depressed than I already am.

I sat in silence for the next three minutes trying to think about what else to write in my diary.
Until my alarm went off that is.

Shit I'm late crap!
I forgot about the meeting NATO wanted to have with me!
She is going to kill me if I am late.
I turned off my alarm clossed my booking shoving into the drawing of my desk and ran downstairs.
I grabbed the bag of bread and pulling out a piece. I went to put it in the toaster but I looked and the time and it read 7:46
Nevermind fuck it
I droped the bag on bread back on the table and headed for the front door.
I ran out the front door slipping on a sheet of sparkeling ice engraved on the pavement.
Ow what the hell! I went to get up when I grabbed the Newspaper sitting on the ice. I went to grabe it but it was sogging so I put it back down. I took a look at the front page and I felt a deep worry in my heart as my eyes traced the headline of the page. "𝘖𝘯 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘞𝘞3"

I looked at the page for a while letting my mind enter the world of unknown.
All until my mind went back to the present time.
Shit the time!
I looked at my watch
7:54

I got in my car and I was off to work.

I ran into the building as fast as I got ussing the stairs because it was faster than waiting for the elevator.
I burst through the meeting room doors to see NATO reading a piece of paper that was in her hands.
"I am so sorry I am late" I say
NATO looked at me with an annoyed look and said "well your here now so sit down"

I take my seet at the other side of her desk

"So um what did you need me for?" I ask sitting my bag down of the free chair beside me.
"Well I am sure you are well aware of what has been happing with Russia?" She asked me pulling more papers out of her desk
I feel a slight wave of anger flow over my body and I heard his name. "Yes I have"
"Alright then you would know the world is in great danger" NATO said looking at me.
"Yes, we are but why did you call for a meeting with just me?" I asked confused
"Becuase you are our main protection, You are the reason why WW3 has not already happened. You are a part of me and if you leave NATO the world might not make it out in one piece" she said in a more worried tone
"Leave?, why would I leave NATO?" I said confused by her words
"There have been a lot of rumors that you are going to leave NATO" she said quietly
"Well for one those rumors are not true. I would never leave NATO as I value not only mine but the worls safety. Two, why would you ever belive rumors?" I said to the tall blue women sitting in front of me.
"I normally wouldn't however, it seems not only countryhumans are talking about it but so are humans. If humans are talking about something like this than that is bad and you know that" She said in a more stern tone of voice.
"I am sorry but I am not so sure what you would like me to do about this" I say not really having any other words to use.
"I need you to let people know that that is not ture." NATO said in a begging tone
"NATO you know I can't do that I have no control over what my government does or says all countryhumans know that" I say
"I know that but I need you to tell your people that you wont be leaving" NATO said to me

"So your asking me to lie to my people?" I ask in a confused tone.
"Well... in this case yes, yes I am. Normally I would never ask this of you or anyone for that matter but the world is in danger and it the best thing to do right now" NATO said trying to justify her request.

I knew for a fact she was right. The world would go nuts over me leaving NATO and that could cause many, many problems...

"Okay I will do it" I said questioning my choice.

Was this the right decision?
Was this the right way to help my people?

Guess we will find out...
