"JAKE, IM HOME" I yelled as I enter the kitchen. "Hey Y/n, how was work? He said as he served me food.

"It was good, how about you?" I asked as I grabbed the food from his hand.

"It was good, I'll have to go back to work on more documents though." he said as she went into the restroom.

He's my amazing brother Jake, him and I live together. He has taken care of me after our parents died, he's really responsible and I admire him a lot.

"Alright Y/n gotta go, take care ok?" He said coming out from the restroom and planting a kiss on my head.

"Bye Jake, take care" I said chewing and waving at him.

I finished my food and headed to the living room while I decided what drama to watch.

After 3 episodes into the drama I decided to take a shower and clean up. Luckily tomorrow I had a day off so I would be able to sleep all day. So I decided to head to bed to get more sleep in.

After a few minutes into my sleep I heard the door open. I heard Jake whisper something but I was too sleepy to comprehend. He then planted a kiss on my head and massaged it.

After a few minutes he got up from the bed and covered me more. The door closed and I went into dreamland.

"Y/N WAKE UP" I heard Jake yell. "Y/N" he yelled once more. "Hmm" I said as I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"Get dressed, we're going out to eat" he said standing by the door with a smile.

After Jake left I checked my phone '11:17'. I decided to go with some baggy jeans and a blue sweatshirt.

"This is so good" I say as I widen my eyes at the piece of tempura I chew. I loved spending time with Jake. We were so close and I was really grateful that he also liked it.

"Good, today is a special day for you. So eat anything you want" he said smiling and eating.

Sometimes I wish our parents were here, but sometimes im grateful for being this close to my brother.

"So what are your plans afterwards?" I asked looking up at him.

"Nothing, I have to go back to work. I just wanted to take you out in your birthday" he said smiling. He definitely gives off golden retriever vibes.

"I don't go back to work until Monday" I smirked. "Stop showing off, at least I'm making more money" he scoffed. "Yeah yeah" I said eyeing him.

"Uhhh, I'm so full" I said rubbing my tummy in circles. "Me too, but that food was good asf" he said doing the same.

"Thank you for taking me out to eat Jake" I said giving him a smile of gratitude. "Thank you for being my sister Y/N" he said as he got up.

"Well Bye Y/N, see you in the Morning" he said getting into his car. "Bye Jake, love you take care" I said opening the door to our house.

I was in the couch sitting down watching my drama where I left off, when suddenly someone texted.

"Hmmm" I mumbled reaching out for my phone on my nightstand.

"Hello?" I said as I answered the call. "Hello, is this Y/n Sim?" Someone asked on the other line.

"Yes? Who is this" I asked. "This is Doctor Jay, I would like to inform you that your brother had an accident and is currently in the hospital"

"Wait what, when did this happen?" I asked as I started changing.

"Not too long ago, his condition is pretty serious. But we'll do our best to treat him well." He said

"Ok I'm on my way, thank you. Bye" I said putting my shoes on and heading out.
