2 days has passed by and we found ourselves standing in front of the abandoned asylum, the atmosphere like a horror movie.
Here only a few bit of the group wanted to attend, others were too scared or just simply didn't want to join.
"Alright, team," Seungcheol said, clapping his hands together.
"We stick together, keep our eyes peeled, and stay alert. But remember, we're just here to gather information. Let's not do anything stupid."
"Define stupid," Hoshi joked, nudging me with a slight grin.
"You" Vernon said also grinning.
I chuckled nervously. "Like running off into a dark hallway alone."
"Exactly," Seungcheol said smiling
"Sounds like something Hoshi would do" Chan mumbled.
"Alright team, Let's go inside" Seungcheol said turning his flashlight on.
"Why decided to do this at night? Do you want us to die?" Jeonghan said walking beside Seungcheol.
"Where the fun in doing this in plain daylight?" He said entering the building.
The entrance to the asylum was a pair of heavy, rusted doors, barely hanging on their hinges.
Seungcheol and Vernon gave them a push, and with a groan, they swung open, revealing a dark, musty hallway.
Stepping inside, I was struck by the harsh odor of the air, thick with dust and insects. Our flashlights cut through the darkness, showing off the ripped wallpaper and vandalism caused by people.
I stayed close to the guys, of course not wanting to be first nor last.
"Okay, first things first," Vernon said, scanning the area with his flashlight.
"We need to cover as much ground as possible. We'll check each room in order and see if we can find anything related to Anarath."
We started with the rooms on the ground floor. The first few were empty, just broken furniture and discarded papers. Nothing related to Anarath has been found yet, still having floors to explore.
