Natasha grabbed the remote and hit pause. The others were confused and about to voice their opinions when she put a finger to her mouth. They stopped and listened.

They heard hissing and groans of pain, small bangs as something metal hit the wall. Cautiously, Natasha got Yelena off her lap and grabbed the gun strapped under the chair.

( Steve and Tony traded 'how tf...?' looks with each other and the others weren't surprised )

Yelena soon joined her, a knife clutched tightly in her hand. Natasha pushed the door open and aimed the gun right at the persons head.

"Stop, stop!" the man said quickly, a look of pain crossing his face. "I don't want a fight!" he assured them.

"Ha!" laughed Yelena; dryly. The man sent her a pleading look.

"Why are you here?" Natasha demanded, the gun not wavering. "After all that's been on the news, why would you come here?"

"I- I need some help. I- I didn't know who to turn to. I- I saw on the news that you and Steve were here. I can trust y... you two," Natasha saw he was going pale and started to sway. That's when Natasha noticed his limp and how he was clutching his flesh arm tightly to his chest.

"Yelena. Go back to the living room. Tell them everything is okay and that I'll be back soon," Natasha said, not looking at her sister at all. She placed the gun in the waistband of her jeans and walked off. "Come on soldier," she called lazily behind her.

He cast a look at Yelena before going as fast as he could to catch up with Natasha. Yelena stood there, her mouth half open and the knife still clutched in her hand. "What just- I- NATALIA!" she got no reply from her call.

"What's going on?" Steve asked, walking up behind her. Yelena got startled and spun around, the knife coming way too close to Steve's neck for his liking.

"Someone showed up at the tower and Natasha just welcomes him like an old friend!" spat the blonde, pushing away from Steve.

"Who?" the soldier asked, a frown falling into place on his face. Yelena clenched her jaw and brushed past him, walking into the living room and standing in the coffee table.

"Hello everyone! Natalia wanted me to inform you all that she will be back shortly. The reason for this little intermission is because my idiot sister has decided to welcome The Winter Soldier into this compound!" Yelena announced loudly, hopping off the coffee table with a smirk.

"Miss Belova, Agent Romanoff has told me to tell you "You are so dramatic Yelena. And he isn't Солдат, not anymore. We'll be there soon". Agent Romanoff also gave you the finger," FRIDAY's voice rang out into the room.

Yelena glared at the ceiling and sunk into her and Natasha's sofa.

Barnes sat on the medical bed and watched Natasha gather what she needed. She could feel his eyes on her but didn't say anything. She didn't know what to say. Natasha sent a sly look back at him and they locked eyes. Natasha could see a storm full of emotions swirling behind them eyes, loads of questions and fear.

But also caring? Admiration perhaps?

"What's on your mind?" Natasha asked quietly; part of her asked because the dead silence of the deserted medical room was suffer sting but also because she wanted to know.

Barnes let out a sigh, "Everything. It's so puzzled and mixed. I don't know what's my memories and what's been forced in there. I- I don't know me," Nat could hear the pain in his voice.
