On a hot Sunday morning, Saiki sat inside a cafe. He had visited it a few times before and had fallen in love with the coffee jelly. It was honestly better than his usual go-to, Café Mami. It was slightly more crowded in this cafe, and the thoughts were more clear. The taste of the coffee and coffee jelly were too good to pass. He already suffered from a lack of sleep and thousands of thoughts every minute, so he just let the taste of his desserts take him to a different world. None of his nuisance friends knew of this location and the atmosphere was comfortable, similar to Café Mami. Even when he came back to his senses, he felt a little better than he did before, and that made every bite and sip worth it. The lost minutes of sleep were instantly made up for, Saiki decided.

When Saiki received his coffee, he carefully blew on it before taking a sip.

Hot!

He set the coffee down and poked his tongue out a bit, letting the stinging sensation cool down as he sent a half-hearted glare at his favorite drink. He raised one hand towards the drink to lower the temperature. It was something he would usually do.

"Strawberry?"

Saiki blinked and looked up. Atsuki was standing over him with a sinister grin on face. He didn't wait for a response before sliding in the seat across from Saiki.

"What are you doing here?" Saiki questioned, picking up the coffee and blowing on it before finally lifting his gaze to Atsuki.

Atsuki put a hand on his cheek as he looked at Saiki. "I like it when you look at me." He stated bluntly. "Well, was running an errand. Saw a head of pink hair through the window on my way home." Atsuki explained as if he hadn't slipped that flirty comment in there.

Sly fox.

"Not iced today?" Atsuki gestured to Saiki's coffee. Saiki took a sip, happy that he went without feeling the harsh burning sensation.

Saiki put the coffee down and answered. "No... I know it's hot outside, but I wanted to try it without ice."

"Oh, I see." Atsuki replied as he eyed a waitress who began approaching their table. The waitress smiled and set down the dessert in front of Saiki.

"One coffee jelly." She looked at Atsuki. "Would you like to order something, sir?"

Atsuki eyed her before smiling. "Yeah, just get me another one of those."

A bubbly atmosphere suddenly appeared around the table. Of course, this was due to the waitress. She giggled and turned to leave. "Coming right up!"

'That guy was so cute!'

Saiki glanced at the girl, wishing she would take the bright atmosphere with her. He rolled his eyes and turned back to the beauty that was called coffee jelly. Saiki took his spoon and dug it into the jelly, watching as the whipped cream slid onto the metal. Nearly drooling as he brought the spoon to his lips, he found himself grateful for this blessing upon many more inconveniences. He stopped moving when a deep voice spoke.

"Hey. You're not taken, right?" Atsuki wondered. Saiki furrowed his brows and lowered the spoon a bit. He was asking that now? Seriously? After all of the flirting and jokes?

Saiki gave Atsuki a critical look before deadpanning. "Do I look taken?"

Atsuki shrugged. "You look like you get hit on a lot, so..."

Saiki rolled his eyes and looked away. It was annoying how that actually wasn't far from the truth. He released a small sigh and went back to his dessert, not being able to withhold from the treat in front of him. Saiki finally brought the spoon to his lips and allowed himself to smile. He sighed, the familiar buzzing ringing in his ears as the jelly melted into his mouth.
