I walked into the kitchen he turned on the sink I let the cold water hit my hands "I'm not going" I turn to him "u ain't got no choice look I know u ain't not on best Terms what yo dad but he tryna get chu out the chi I'm glade he is u been through alot these last few months and I want to be sad cause u leaving but I'm not cause I want u safe" he spoke softly as he rapped my hands up in bandages
I looked up at him he leaned in to kiss me we started to kiss he pulled me closer I have never kissed him before my heart was racing he left's me onto the counter still kissing me we heard someone coming through the door
"ANIYA" I heard my dad voice through out the house I tried to push jay away before he could find us "come on ma just a couple more seconds" he mumbled I roll my kissing him a few more the he backed away
"Aniya you don't hear me talking to u" my dad said walking into the kitchen "I heard" I rolled my eyes jay stood there looking me "fuck is he doing here" he said jay shook his head "he rapped my hands up u wasn't gon do it" I mumbled
"well folks got to go home I got u talk to u" he said with aggression in his voice "I'm not going nowhere" jay said but he spoke gently Von was just getting aggressive for no reason "nigga what u gon leave if I tell u to"
he walked up on jay he looked scared but jay ain't back down. My mom ran into the kitchen holding Von back and I stepped between them "he ain't do nothing to u don't even know him" I yelled "talk to yo child" my dad said looking at her
he walked out the kitchen sitting in the living room "ima go. I love u aniya" jay hugged me before walking out the door "niya go upstairs we will come talk to u in a minute" I sigh and walked up to my room I fell asleep due to my hands hurting "niya" my momma shook me awake I sat up in my bed locking eyes with my dad
"why u making me go" I say "because you're dad what's to spend time with you plus he wants to make sure you're safe" she said "safe from what I'm fine" I said "why can't u just come with me.
I know u want to see more then just the chi I know you think I'm tryna brag on money I want u to understand that I do love u" he said sitting next me on the bed I side eye him "I got to leave now or what" I said "we leaving late so u can start picking now" he got off the bed
my momma look so slow actually believing that me doing to stay with him is gon change something I ain't give no reply I took my suitcase out my clothes and started to put my clothes in it along with some shoes
me and jay texted most of the time as I got ready to leave I hate that I have to leave him I don't know nobody in Atlanta and my dad girlfriend living with him ion know her fr and I don't care to.
2 hours go by he call me downstairs "ANIYA LETS GO" he calls me I sighed I let my suitcase flip down the stairs "really" he looked at me "yes really my hands hurt u don't gon do it" I mumbled he picked the suitcase up and put it in the car
I waited outside for jay he said he was at the store I just wanted to see he once's more "Niya come on" my dad said "hold on" I said looking around next thing I know jay and his sister pulls up
I smile he got out the car hugs me "ima miss u jay" I hugged him "I know just call me ok" he put his hands on my face "calling ain't enough for me" I roll my eyes "give me 3 days ima be down there to u" he said
"u promise" I say "yeah I do. Listen let me holler at yo dad real quick" he looks at him then me "for what u ain't do nun wrong" I suck my teeth "it's called respect and if u want me to be round u it's only right I at least introduce myself properly" jay smiles
this nigga just don't know when to quit I step aside letting him walk towards him
"excuse me sir" jay says "wassup foe" my dad said closing the truck
"I want to introduce myself the right way and apologize for earlier my name is Jayden and I apologize for the way I acted I wasn't tryna disrespect you in anyway. I really do love Niya and I just don't want nothing bad for her" he looks him dead in the eyes
i stood there waiting for what was gon happen next my dad started to smile at him "nah u coo folks. Thank u for the apology and that's my fault for tweakin on you like that" he dapped him up i said my goodbyes to my mom and jay
my dad opened the door for me "u ever been on a plane" he looks over to me "no" "well todays the day" he smiled as the driver pulled off
