DBH; Amanda's Curse - AU.

It's been a week since the androids weren't the same anymore. A week since the infection.

Over half of detroit has been evacuated, and almost everybody is going to Canada.

The androids are somewhat contained, but it's very hard to tell what's going to happen next.

MARKUS.

"Simon, can you come with me real quick?"

"Whatever you need, Markus."

I led Simon towards one of the freighters walls, where the metal was starting to wear down, I can't take any risk of it breaking off.

"I need you and a few other androids to try and patch this up, we have ladders in storage and you know where the tools are."

"Alright, got it."

I gave Simon a small pat on the back as he walked away to do his task, he was always so helpful to me.

We have Jericho protected, it's considered a safe space as of right now. At least to most people.

We would prefer to be in the city, celebrating our victory but then out people are at huge risk. Risk of getting infected by one of those.. things.

I scanned a few of then which walked to close to Jericho, they had an unknown corruption, which I couldn't find any information on.

"Markus," I felt a hand on my shoulder, "We need you upstairs!"

I turned around to see North, who nudged her head towards upstairs, near my planning room.

I quickly followed her upstairs

CONNOR

"Hank we can't just- we can't stay here!"

"Connor, I know that okay?! Let me think.." Hank yelled.

I cowered into fear, my LED flickered yellow and red, I felt so much fear right now.

"It would be best if we leave, please Hank, listen to me!"

Hank didn't answer, he grunted as he leaned over the kitchen counter.

I paced around the room, sumo followed Me with his eyes very confused.

"If they manage to take over detroit, they will come here!"

"The army has it under control Connor, trust me!"

I disagreed, but I feared that if I stood up to Hank, he wouldn't like me anymore. He blamed me, blamed me and told me it was my fault.

Sometimes I wish I stayed a machine.

KARA

The news in detroit seems very bad, I'm glad we left before that all happend. Markus seems to have his safety in order, but if those things spread fast he won't be able to hide in Jericho all day.

Luther and I sat in Rose's car, waiting for her to get groceries. Alice was back at her brothers home, taking a break.

"Kara, you seem worried. Everything okay?"

"I feel bad for everybody back there, back in detroit. Do you think they will be safe?"

"Let's hope the humans can do something about it."

Luther knew there wasn't a clear answer, but he still comforted me in some way. I gave him a small smile.

MARKUS

"She was attacked, Markus! What do you expect?!"

"What about it?! We don't know how It works, it's to early to tell!"

North and I argued, Josh watched nervously as we had the attacked android stand a few feet away from us, for norths sake.

"Just let me talk to her!" I faced the android, "How long ago did you get injured?"

"Around.. two days ago?"

"You should have told us soone-"

"I know! But I wasn't sure what you would think, I'm sorry."

"Its fine, we have a misunderstanding that's all."

"North, thank you for the.. concern. But everything's under control."

"Markus.. really?!"

"Everything is under control."

North grumbled and stepped out the room, meanwhile the other Android thanked me for being so kind.

I sent the android along her way, back into the crowd. Josh walked up to me.

"Markus, you sure North isn't right? There's always a chance I mean-"

"Josh, its okay. Everything's okay. We have to wait for those androids to be taken care of, or cured. Whatever it is. Then we can start our life's together."

"I trust you Markus."

Josh nodded his head before walking out the room.

CONNOR

An hour has passed, I let Hank do his thinking. He should be done by now.

"Sumo, get up."

Sumo was on top of me, I was sitting on Hanks bed in silence, just petting him.

Sumo just barked and licked my hand.

"You're to heavy for me to move, if you get up ill get you a treat?"

Sumo heard 'treat' and immediately jumped off my lap, his paws skidding across the floor as he gained his balance.

"Good boy."

I walked over to Hank who was sitting in a chair by the table, I opened a drawer and gave Sumo a quick treat, then sat next to Hank.

"Are you done yet? The sooner the better."

"Yeah, Yeah.. I have something worked out."

"Which is?"

"We stay the night here, and if everything Is good we bunker down real tight until it calms down."

"Is that it.."

"Let me finish."

"Sorry."

"And if something bad happens before morning, we move out somewhere safer. Markus says there's room at Jericho."

"Thats not the best plan, Hank. Maybe we should re-"

"I'm open for suggestions later, now I want some rest. Sorry, Connor."

I frowned as hank stood up and walked past sumo, he went to go sleep, leaving me alone.
