MARKUS

~'~

"Shit, Simon!" I yelled.

I knelt down to Simon, who's eyes fluttered open and shut.

"Simon, it's okay- you'll be okay." I whispered.

"Will I die, Markus?" Simon said, not making eye contact with Me.

"No, ill figure this out. Do you have a shutdown error or not?"

"Yeah, 4 minutes."

4 minutes isn't alot, I have to act now.

North ran up besides me, and looked at the situation she caused.

"Oh shit- he's bleeding!" North said, covering her mouth.

"Yeah, no shit." I responded.

CONNOR

After a long scolding from Gavin, and then Gavin getting scolded by Hank, we finally managed to come up with an idea.

The TV's finally worked again, but barely. The screens were dimmed and occasionally flickered with static.

We have decided to barricade the office fully, since we saw a glimpse as to what happend at Jericho.

I haven't checked again, but thr last thing I saw was the androids fleeing either out the ship, or onto the roof. A few jumped out holes or windows.

"Hey, Connor. You wanna help me with this or what?"

"Coming, Hank."

I disconnected from my mental space, and then went to assist hank.

"So, we can board up the windows with something. We don't have wooden planks, just metal sheets in the storage room."

"Perhaps we can just- line them up against the window? We can't really nail those down."

"Or Maybe we can nail Connor down? So he can shut up." Gavin suggested.

I did not appreciate that.

"You're very immature, gavin."

"I'm just having fun, chill it blue balls."

Hank just sighed and ignored us, he fixed his jacket by adjusting the buttons briefly.

"Hank, we should just do what I suggest."

"Yeah, I don't got any better plans."

And so it was settled, we would barricade the windows with the metal sheets.

SIMON

Only screams and error signals filled my ears, I frantically looked around, I held onto Markus for support as he helped me stand up.

Markus and north turned to the ladder just a few feet away, and I saw then taking shots.

The other androids must be coming, the corrupted ones.

I leaned against a pillar of the ship, unable to hold myself steady.

I saw the other androids evacuating, some waited for orders, while some decided to scale down the ship, or jump into the water.

Markus turned back to me.

"Simon, I need you to just- just wait here. Me and North will take a minute, and we will assist your wound. Are any biocompents damaged?"
