Sonic: *Yawns and winces* Hey guys wh-ats u-up?? The Hell is wrong with my voice? Huh, that was weird? Whatever, Hey guys what's up?

Knuckles: What's the last thing you remember?

Sonic: You picking me up from the floor.

Shadow: Good that was some fall, we were worried you got Amnesia.

Sonic: N-No I'm f-fine, a-are you guys a-alright?

Tails: Sonic, you're stuttering like crazy!!

Sonic: A-Am I-i? I-i D-didn't notice!

Knuckles: Sonic what happened?

Sonic: Knux is there something at the back of my neck?

Knuckles: Yeah there's a tracker on you, I'm not surprised you have like 5.

Sonic: What? I'm only supposed to have 2? Well 1 is the CIUfA; 1 is Shade; and 1 is Omni's; Then scourge and tails both have 1. so yeah 5 is accurate.

Sonic pinched the back of his neck. He tried to sit up, it didn't work out.

Sonic: Knux, can you give me a hand?

Knuckles: Yeah of course.

Sonic sat up gently with knuckles help.

Silver: you alright Sonic?

Sonic: Yep, just a little sore. I'm alright though.

Amy: Okay, whatever you don't get up.

Sonic: Why not I look fine.

Tails: And you are...except for your legs.

Sonic looked under the blanket, His leg was in a cast.

Sonic: Aw what! I have a cast. Wait, I have a cast? T-That means there's something wrong with my leg, which means I can't run, Which means I can't defend myself.

Shadow: Calm down sonic, you're lucky you're not dead yet.

Sonic: yeah, your right- Wait! Time out. Where Is Shade?

Shadow and knuckles looked at each other.

Knuckles: We don't actually know what happened to them, you were our prime concern.

Sonic nodded, there was a hint of fear and worry in his face.

Sonic's phone rang. Knuckles blindly threw him the phone. Sonic caught it.

Sonic mouthed: "Thank you, knux."

Sonic answered

Sonic: Hello, who is this?

??: This is the windmill city hospital, you are Maurice T. Hedgehog, right?

Sonic: Yes why?

The sound was muffled.

Sonic: Wait what? She's in the hospital? She's alive..She What! Wake her up please!! She's my sister! I can't lose her.

Hospital: I'm sorry mister the hedgehog, she's gone.

Sonic: Oh, ok, well t-thank you for trying.

Hospital: I'm sorry we couldn't do anything more.

Sonic: It's ok, you tried.

The hospital hung up.

Sonic: Tails, they saved her, she was alive for an extra hour. And well now she's gone. Heh, I didn't keep my promise to her.

Shadow's ears perked up at promise.

Shadow: What promise sonic?

Sonic: When we were younger we promised that we would die next to each other. I wasn't there for her. And I didn't even get to say goodbye.
