CHAPTER 10: WHAT'S REAL?

my heart was pounding and it was kinda hard to breathe like normal. I sensed that my door just opened.

"Y/n ~ahh" It was tae, but for some reason, maybe for the first time too, I was scared of him. For the first time, I doubted if he'd hurt me.

Still I slowly peeked though my blanket to see tae with bloody face and shirt. Suddenly he collapsed before me, once he gave me that caring smile.

I quickly ran up to him, and he was unconscious. And HE HAD NO PULSE! oh wait he's a vampire. Anyways, I called out for an ambulance and left the house with him.

I was in the van, when I was confused if this really was the right thing to do. What if the doc can't identify his problem? What if the medicine for affect him? What if he won't survive? What if he even lose his memory-

"You look like, there is food stuck in your throat. "

What the hell?! This bloody holy moly cheese of vampire is so freaking kidding me? Dude just healed himself and almost gave me a damn heart attack.

"Stop the truck, or van, or whatever container I'm in" He said in his cold bossy voice. "Are you deaf or smthg? "

Of course the nurses and the driver were shocked.

Time skips~

"I'm so hungry" I said as I felt the last air in my stomach left a growling sound.

"Let's grab smthg to eat" He said and grabbed my hand before we both entered this fancy French cafe.

Oh god I missed this smell so much, the hot sizzling sweet smell of bread~ is just something oh my god~ I can't-

Tae pulled out a chair for me. So I acted along with him.  " Thank you, lover"

"Anything for you, my princess" And he kissed my hand.

Okay, why am I being surprised, it's normal is Paris, it's just French culture. STOP BLUSHING.

While we were almost finished with our food, I noticed  this really suspicious guy with a hat and hoodie, whose card kept declining. I was staring for a while and realised that it was the guy. The waiter!

I quickly said to tae that I spotted him, and that he was just 8 foot diagonal to us. I was about to stand up, but tae chose to grab my wrist and put me back down. Why? I thought.

"Not now. Just leave him, let's just mind our own business" He said. What does he mean by that? Leave him? Excuse me? His life is in danger and that guy was a hint for some answers. And maybe he itself was the danger and no way this man, Kim taehyung, decided to fricking leave him alone.

Okay I was mad at this fact. So, just as most of the girls do, I remained to keep silence.

After finishing the meal, I paid and ignored tae to even fight about the payment and went on. We decided to walk. And of course, no walking without awkward silence.

But this time, it was more of this heated silence.

It was all for him. I was going to do something to that guy for him. And he opposed me? How dare he. I hate you taehyung.

"Why are you being moody? " That stupid asked. Moody? Me? Hah!

"Oh I'm sorry, forgot to introduce myself. Hi, I'm Kim y/n. And yes I'm a human."  I said sarcastically with a smile.

"Stop overreacting y/n, I said something to keep you away from this" He said the second part while looking down.

"And there we go, our great taehyung, my savior just saved me, from the guy whose target was YOU." I mean, that is the truth. Right?

"I said STOP. STOP talking if you don't know anything about me Or my family. Stop talking if you don't know what it is to be a vampire. Stop interfering my life, if you don't know me! " And he said straight to my face, shouting. His family? I thought we were in the same family.

I just couldn't use my weapon of silence anymore.

"Yes, I don't know YOU, and the reason is that YOU don't tell me, even if I'll ask you. YOU hid the fact that YOU had a brother. YOU were the one who needed me to help you in living the life of a vampire. YOU needed me. So yes, I don't know any damn thing about YOU. So here I am, leaving this road for you to walk alone, because, I'm tired of  saving people I love and hurting myself. I'm tired of healing others, when I'm shattered into million pieces. Therefore, I, Kim- sorry, Lee y/n won't interfere in the life of Kim Taehyung anymore." All my emotions were expressed in the words I just released.

" You can't, and you won't, You won't leave me alone, Kim Y/n. " His eyes sparkled with confidence. But this time, I wasn't scared.

" It's me who decides it, so bye. " I walked away, turning my back, just as it started raining (could my life me more kdramatic??).

" You are not gonna go anywhere until you hear this. " He said, which made me turn back with a frown. " I like you, y/n."

" I'm not falling for this one, because you're gonna make me forget this too, and act like nothing happened AGAIN and treat me like a piece of shit AGAIN. " But wait, is he for real?

"No, I know my hypnotizing won't work on you, because you are the one. And I mean it, I really like you. " He said. Ok... What? So he does know that I'm his soul mate?!

"I don't think so, any of this fight have never had if, what you said was true. " I replied

"It may be hard to understand, but you'll know the real truth soon. And I won't hide anything from you ever again, I promise. " I don't think so

"Real? What is this 'real' tae? I can't understand you, and I'm sure I never will. And you're wrong, I'm not the one for you, go find yourself someone that will understand and listen to your bullshits. " I said and that was honest though

He grabbed my wrist with his left hand and gripped my waist with his right hand and pulled my closer. Reaaaallly close. And he aimed for my lips.

He closed his eyes and softly made our lips to touch. He made mine and his lips open a bit and pulled me more closer before he cupped my lips with his. And that came out to be a 25 sec long kiss.

"This is real, what I just gave to you, was truly, passionately, and lovingly real. " I was shocked with that because his eyes we're being serious and his eyes never lie.

"I don't know, but I need some time to understand.  So bye for now. "

Time skips~

I don't know how I feel after entering a taxi, leaving him alone in the rain, and seeing him stand by himself in a miserable way through the car mirror. But I was right, it's a goodbye for now.
