CHAPTER 5: FEELINGS

i have spend a week of testing, if he really IS a vampire. and ofc, he is. instead of getting scared, I'm actually very excited to have a vampire step bro... but i haven't saw him drinking blood like in movies... 

one Sunday morning, as mom was cooking, she asked tae to bring some grocery items. i protest her by saying that i will buy, but she didn't listen to me.

"fine I'll bid my brother a goodbye." i said, making her looking at me in a weird way.

i went to the nervous tae. i quickly keep him under the shed and i went to buy the groceries. i came back and gave him the cover bag, i was holding. before he could ask anything, i pushed him inside our house. he gave it to mom. and mom was happy for him, cuz she THINKS he has done a great job.

time skips~(to night)

i was asking so much questions during the night time, to tae. but he was just staring at me...

"what? why are you looking at me like that?" i finally asked out. he sighed

"well, it's just... *sigh* you know that i'm a vampire, and you're not scared at all. and you don't even cares about sleeping with me." he said surprised, still staring at me. 

i giggled in response.

we were sleeping, and i was thinking about him. i never helped him today as a sister. the feeling was different. the feeling which i only felt for someone for the first and last time... 

Mingyu.

 he is my ex-boyfriend. i met him at Paris. we became friends in high school, as he was the only Korean friend i could find there. we started dating at the end of our school time. we went to the same college. he loved his family, like a lot, especially his mother. i don't remember her face, but did went to her house often and helped her in kitchen and all. she taught me how to bake. but one day when i went to their house like usual, they weren't there. their neighbours told me that, they moved really far away. i felt really heartbroken as he left without saying a goodbye.

if i feels the same feeling for tae, then.................................... does it means that.................................... i like him?! i woke up widening my eyes, realising that i like my stepbrother who is a freaking vampire!!

"gwenchaneyo?" he asked, looking down at me with a concerned look.

"oh yeah, ofc I'm okay." no I'm not. 

i just turned to the opposite side to avoid his eye contact. after a few seconds, i fell asleep.

time skips~ (at office.)

Hana came back to work. now she don't remember that taehyung is a vampire. she stops annoying me now, yet she still crushes taehyung, which boils my blood... not as a sister but as a one-sided lover...

I was working on my project,  when lens come over to my desk, smiling brightly. 

"Mr. Kim is calling u, unnie..." she chirped. 

I stood up before giving the sweet smile, she gave me. As I was walking through the corridor, my heart was beating like crazy. Last time I had this was when I walked towards mingyu's class to call him for lunch, at college. I took a long breathe before turning the knob of the door.

"Surprise!!, happy birthday, sissy."

I didn't expect this. I was shocked.  How could I forgot that today was my birthday. Mom and dad was also there, besides tae, holding gifts. His smile turned into a pout.

"Aren't you surprised." He said lowering his head with his pouty lips, which made me hard to not kiss.

I smiled brightly at them.

"Ofc, I am. I was just thinking that, how could I forgot about my own birthday. Gamsa-imnida!"I said hugging everyone and wearing the b-day hat. 

We went to the reception and celebrated it with everyone. Dad was really happy, cuz I gave him the first piece. Tae messed my face with the cream, and did to himself, so that I won't do it... mom gave me a beautiful necklace with a locket, which can be open, and there was a pic of me, tae, mom and dad. Dad gave me an expensive sneakers. Tae gave me an instax camera, and ofc the yellow one, which is my favourite colour. Woosin, our junior staff, who has a secret crush on me gave a diamond ring. He was about to put that in my hand, but taehyung grabbed it and quickly put into my hand. Even if I looked cool at that moment, my heart was exploding inside. Tae was anot overprotective brother through everyone's eyes, except for Hana,  who was burning like a fire...

"Let's take a group selca." Yelled Woosin,  to avoid the awkwardness... I quickly pulled tae close to me and posed for the photo. I did that to make Hana more jealous. She stomped away, angrily after witnessed us being close to each other. 

And there was Woosin,  shaking his hands, while looking at us through the phone, he was holding to take the selca, out of jealousy. While, there was me, who was enjoying all of this.

Time skips~(at cafè)

We ordered our favs, cold coffee and a burrito. He was scrolling through his phone, and I was staring at him.

"Don't you drink blood?" I asked, whispering. 

He chuckled and said

"Do you want me to? Well... it's been a while. I saw how good your blood looked when you were bleeding, I think I should taste you." I suddenly got scared.

"Yah! Kim taehyung! If you want blood, I will steal it for you from the blood bank, nearby. I will pick your favourite flavour. And anyways my blood is soo untasty. It's so disgusting." I said trynna make him change his mind. He again chuckled.

"I'm kidding y/n~ah... " he said ruffling my hair, which made me blush for NO reason.

I really am love with this guy....
