did darkness just instantly call for her? was she so dark she attracted the shadows themself? she didn't ask for it to. it just did.

her shadow was always so peculiar. what she wanted, it would mirror. what she thought, it would reflect. her shadow had always been so weird.

how come nobody noticed it's unrealistic shape? was it that she was hallucinating or going insane? was it that she was imagining things?

or what if it was because she had tried so hard to cover it? covered it with metaphorical shadows and layers so that it wouldn't show?

in fact, she had always wondered.
