A little info on my au before we begin: during the october takeover eclipse only ever pretended to be Sun around the workers and glamrocks. Other then that, he didn't bother to act around kids or the parents sense it's not like they could do anything.
With that being said, the timeline is during the first october takeover
Y/n groans as they stand infront of the main entrance of the place known as "superstar daycare". They put a keycard into the scanner and the doors open up to allow both them and their younger sibling inside.
The small child runs ahead, not even bothering to wait for y/n who is going at a much slower pace.
"Slow down!" Y/n calls out to their overly eager sibling. Luckily the child manages to avoid running into any of the others that are also going to the daycare. Y/n catches up to their sibling and grabs onto their hand so they cant go out of reach.
"Dont run off like that! It would be my responsibility if you got hurt." Y/n scolds the child.
"Sorry..." they say softly, now feeling bad for possibly angering their older sibling.
Before they could say anything else y/n comes to a stop infront of some large open doors. The overwhelming sound of children laughing and playing around inside fills both their ears.
Y/ns sibling looks up to them as if asking if they can go in. Y/n nods and lets them go as the child happily runs inside.
Y/n is about to leave having already dropped off their sibling, however as they turn to walk out of the door, they are met with a glowing orange face. Y/n lets out a surprised gasp as they aren't able to move out of the way in time and they end up falling to the floor alongside the other.
Y/n immediately goes to apologize and tries to help the...animatronic off the floor. To y/n's dismay, the sun-like animatronic only glares back at them.
"watch where your going...idiot" he rolls his eyes at them and scoffs. Y/n just stares back at him in disbelief.
"Jeez you don't gotta be an ass. I already said I was sorry man." They cross their arms, now very much peeved. It wasn't their fult after all but of course he didn't think so.
"Whatever just get out of my way. I dont have time for this." He shoves y/n aside, not letting them argue.
Y/n just stands outside of the daycare for a moment, dumbfounded on the whole situation. "Well then...I hope I dont have to see him again." Y/n says to themselves while walking away, completely unaware that they were being watched.
You guessed it, time skip
Y/n scrolls through their phone while on a bus. They are on their way to pick up their sibling and so y/n needed something to not be bored.
As y/n is looking at the usual memes and laughing to themself, something catches their eyes. It was a pop up advertisement except that wasn't what got their attention.
"The pizzaplex is hiring for a daycare assistant?" Y/n thinks to themself and they click on the advertisement. It takes them to a website that has a list of all the benefits, pay rates, and anything else that would normally be included.
After thinking it over y/n decides they would try to apply for the position. The bus arrives at the pizzaplex and y/n gets out.
The walk to the daycare wasn't that far and y/n makes it as they stand infront of the daycare. It doesn't take them long to find their sibling so y/n calls out their name and they come running over.
Y/n ruffles their hair "did you have fun?" Y/n asks them as they walk out.
The child nods happily. "Great because we will be coming back tomorrow" y/n chuckles as the child starts practically bouncing as they walk.
Aaaand time skip (I definitely need to find a better way to transition other than just 50 timeskips in one chapter...)
Y/n walks into the daycare they were now going to be very familiar with. Except this time they weren't just dropping off their sibling.
It was actually much easier than they expected to get the job and they were pretty much hired on the spot. They were told that the staff at the daycare would direct them on what to do.
While y/n I walks into the brown doors their sibling runs off to join a group of kids. Y/n sees what appears to be a security desk. Y/ns eyes widen when they notice the same one who had been a jerk the other day is sitting at the security desk.
"You work here?!" Y/n yells out causing him to look up from the computer. It doesn't take long for eclipse to recognize them and an equally disturbed look crosses their face.
"Seriously? What are you doing here...?" He spins around in his chair to face them as y/n walks closer.
"I needed a job. Now im already starting to regret it if I will have to work with you." Y/n says, annoyed.
Eclipse pinches the bridge of his nose "good luck with that. Fazbear made it so legally employees cant quit within the first two weeks...it seems as though your stuck here until then." He clearly seemed agitated about this. Although unconsciously he was also kind of glad.
"What?! There's no way that's legal!" Y/n says. Eclipse chuckles "they dont give a damn about whats legal and whats not. Anyways if you would excuse me I have more important things to do."
Eclipse walks out of the daycare, going to do who knows what.
Little did either of them know, the two would end up becoming closer over those next two weeks. To y/n's complete surprise, they ended up actually enjoying eclipses company. Likewise for Eclipse although he would never admit it out loud.
One evening after the daycare had closed eclipse was in moons old room that he has been using. He is still trying to find monty and using the computer to track all the possible places. That was when a certain lunar animatronic walks in.
(Ps: this is when Lunar actually liked eclipse)
"Heey brother" the high pitched voice yells out as he enters the room. Eclipse sighs over dramatically
"What do you want." He asks, not taking his eyes off the screen.
"You know that new employee you have been talking to...a LOT lately?"
Eclipse takes his eyes off the screen and gives lunar a questioning look. "Yeah. What about them?"
"When are you gonna ask them out already??" He says in a playfully annoyed tone.
Immediately a blush forms on eclipse face and his eternal fans start getting increasingly louder. Eclipse glares at lunar. "What are you on about?!"
Lunar laughs "oh come on even I can tell it's painfully obvious you have a crush on them."
Eclipse gives lunar a look that says he's gonna kill him. "I will give you five seconds..." he said with a dead serious tone. Although it seemed he still had a slight blush from lunars remark.
Lunar gets the idea and immediately runs out of the room, giggling like a child would.
Eclipse sighs and flops into "his" bed. He tries to think about anything else but for some reason y/n is the only thing that can come to mind.
"Goddamnit!" he covers his face with a pillow in an attempt to stop the blush from forming on his face.
