I OPENED my eyes to the sound of alarm waking up my sleep. I quickly got up and stretch my stiff body. I took my towel and walked out to get ready for the day. The corridor was comfortably silent and cold.

I took a moment to take a deep breath and enjoy the silence as i enter the girls bathroom. The vertical mirror with a line of connecting sinks underneath it, dry and fresh. My eyes couldn't ignore the reflection of my body in my tight undersuit.

That chub haunts me on the mocking mirror; reflecting a toilet. My arms slither on my stomach feeling guilty and self-conscious.

"Come on (Y/N) don't do this. You promised mom" I told myself in my head as I force myself to turn my gaze away from the mirror and into the shower.

It doesn't take that long for me to finish showering. But I enjoy taking time in grooming myself like makeup and hair. It's two things that distracts myself from the harsh perception of the real me.

As I finish my usual routine of dolling myself up, the other agents also just finished their self-care routines. The ambiance of the room was lively from the chatter of the girls talking while exchanging tips for hygiene and makeup.

The deep rooted misogyny in women shaming another woman for loving makeup was a phase people now have pushed away from how ridiculous it was. The walk to the cafeteria of course was as peaceful as it was when I walked to the bathroom earlier.

Well at least it was peaceful for a bit until I saw the familiar blond. I sigh to myself trying my best to ignore his prying eyes glaring at me trying to have my breakfast in peace. It feels like it's piercing right through me in anger.

Good to be honest. It's 8:30 in the morning and I already pissed someone off what a great way to start the day.

"Why the glare?" I asked him as I drop my spoon on the tray with my hand locking together for me to rest my chin on and stare at his eyes.
