He has already made his way somewhere private. He takes out the code Ren gave him a while ago, it's the code to joining a world that already has a world traveler inside, but there must not be more than 2 travelers in one world and the residents of that world can't know about the existence of world travelers, it's dangerous. After entering the code, a portal small enough t fit only one person opens up. Mori walks in right away, his appearance goes back to his real one, which is only 20 or so years younger and now he's wearing ancient japanese clothing., his appearance is now about 17.
Infront of him he sees a gate, with a total of 8 people standing there. All of them looking quite gloomy. A black haired main with a messy ponytail spots him, he taps the shoulder of the white haired man in front of him and says something.
Next thing he knows he's standing in front of those 8 people, "I was only looking for my brother, he told me he worked here, as a umm... hashira? I think" he explains, already knowing what they're going to ask of him.
"Who is he? all of us are here so just point him out." The chihuahua looking guy says.
"I'll just tell you. he wears a cape with flames along the bottom. I call him Ren" Mori explains
A girl with 3 braids walks over to him "You must have been special to him, none of us call Rengoku-san 'Ren"
"Ah yes, Rengoku. He's my brother. ...Something happened to him.. is that why you're all gloomy...?" While being in different worlds, Mori and Ren still had a way of contacting each other despite being so far away. Ren used to always talk about his disciple, Mitsuri Kanroji. She often wore her hair in 3 braids and her hair was green and pink, her eyes were green and with small moles under each eye. Ren only spoke positive about her, which made Mori think of her as the way she's acting now, but more cheerful. Seeing her so sad, he starts to connect the dots and eventually figures it out.
"What happened to him...?"
