The Traveler Between Worlds (Discontinued)

Chapter 5

Atsushi and Kyouka ran through the city, everything was like people had just disappeared, they looked inside of cars, buildings, no one. 

"Silence has taken over , it's like everyone had disappeared from this city" Atsushi told himself.

hot tea was still hot tea, cars had crashed into each other and there was fog in the air.

"Kyouka-chan.."

"You both, come with me" Mori raced by, he grabbed their hands and just had to keep up with his speed. They ran for a small bit, they stopped. Mori had been running around to find the agency member all night but he forgot the format of Yokohama so he could only so far find their abilities, Kyouka and Atsushi. Behind them was blood splashed onto the ground and on the car, "was this another suicide by ability?" Kyouka stared at it. Before Atsushi or Mori could say anything, they heard munching. They ran to an alleyway, led by a trail of blood. They heard a growl from in it, golden eyes pierced through the darkness like turning your phone on at 3 Am with light mode on.

A creature leapt towards them, Kyouka and Atsushi quickly stepped aside just in time to avoid it. Mori was watching with his hand on the hilt of his katana, still not daring to draw it. But he wanted to get the two of them out of here. Atsushi and Kyouka called their abilities but Mori already grabbed them again and at normal speed, ran towards the agency. "That won't work" he says. The creature was throwing cars into the air as it chased them, Mori again stopping. 

"Kunikida! are you alright?" Atsushi asked, running closer to Kunikida's side "Were you shot?"

"I got the bullet out. I'm Fine."

Another explosion was heard behind them, "Run!"

Mori noticed something "Wait. Kunikida, you see that red gem on the forehead of your ability?" he points to it using his katana. "Hold on, stay here. I want to try something.." Mori sped towards Kunikida's ability and sliced the gem on it's forehead, it then disappeared. "Kunikida, do you feel anything? try using your ability."

Kunkida's ability worked!

Anyways, they were now headed towards the agency. Once they got there, Kunikida kicked a desk out of the way, he took out a card and swiped it in between one of the tiles on the floor, it opened up and revealed a metal rectangular shape. he placed his hand on a what seems to be a sensor. 

"What is that?" Atsushi asked

A shape of a television opened in the wall, a blue glitchy screen came on.

"We almost have a connection, keep this level steady" a barely legible voice said. having heard no response, the voice spoke again "Can you hear me? President Fukuzawa, is that you?"

"It's Agent Kunikida. You're with the Special Operations Division, correct?" Kunikida replied 

"Special Operations Division?" He knew he would get no answer, but Atsushi asked out of curiousity.

"I'm Sakaguchi Ango of the Special Operations Division" The glitch starts to fade away and settle down, you could now clearly see Ango's face. 

'Oh, him' Mori turns his head away. 

"Kunikida-san, what is the situation over there?"

"I'm here with Nakajima Atsushi and Izumi Kyouka. All other agency staff are currently missing."
