It had been a long day, from finding where I was, to getting a hotel and even finding a job; it has definitely been the most productive day I have had for sure. However, with all that productivity came feeling tired. My first day was tomorrow, and I had to be ready.

Luckily, the restaurant ( if that's what you could call it ) was a block away. Really fast, the day had become night, faster than I expected, maybe because of the lack of windows they had.

The cold air brushed my hair backwards while it froze my hands and feet. I approached the hotel and got in, where the heat contrasted with the weather outside. Rapidly, I was in my room. I hadn't had a chance to see it before, so seeing it now was weird. Seeing the room just proved that the hotel wasn't the best. From the very uncomfortable wooden bed, to the dirty sheets, and the walls the seemed as if they had been never washed, with pieces of food creeping from the sides. What was worse, was that looking around I saw no bathrooms. The first thing I did was definitely to panic. I couldn't go to sleep dirty after all the things I had done or even start working in that way.

An hour had passed an luckily, I had found the community bathrooms and I had managed to take a shower. A shower without soap, shampoo or a towel. At least I felt cleaner. Sleeping was not a challenge today, because I could already feel my eyes were too heavy to open.

I was woken up by the manager by a call which I had requested the night before. As soon as the call ended, I got up, put on my clothes from the day before and I ran out to work.

Despite my excitement, I can definitely say it wasn't at all fun. Two hours in, I felt as if I had been working for eight hours. The dishes never seemed to be clean and the bathrooms got dirty every half hour. After taking a break, I realized it was time for me to clean them again. Once more, I got my cleaning supplies and I approached it.

The door was kind of open, and I heard weird sound, but I was scared to check what was happening. After a few seconds, my intrigue got the best of me and I opened the door to find something compleatly unexpected.

A girl, that seemed of about my age was kneeling on the floor holding her hair with one hand and the other one was in her mouth. It didn't take long for me to realize what was happening.

Her head sprang back to look up at me. The first thing I noticed was he eyes, her deep blue eyes lined with thick black liner that was running down her face. The tip of her perfect nose and cheeks were rosy and her blond blonde dyed hair was no longer in her hand. She looked like a fallen angel.

My instincts kicked in and I asked her if she wanted to talk or if she needed help, but she didn't answer with words, but with actions. She was out of my sight before I knew it.

It was a weird experience and feeling. I didn't know if I had to run behind her or grab her arm when I had a chance. Thoughts filled my head, but I wasn't getting paid to do nothing.

Hours had gone by, and I kept cleaning the restaurant. My shift ended at eight, which meant I only had fifteen minutes to go. I cleaned up the last few dishes, wiped my hands on my apron and I approached Isaac.

He told I was good to go and that I could take some food if I needed, which was something I couldn't deny. I told him about my problem with the money and he told me that I shouldn't worry, because he would pay me by the end of the week, exactly what I needed.

I went back to the kitchen and I grabbed a couple of fries and a piece of meat and put them all in a plastic tray. After getting all my things, I was out. Surprisingly the sun was still up. I followed the same steps I took every day. Suddenly, I bumped into somebody. It was a she, and the girl I had seen in the morning. She looked different this time, with her hair done up in a ponytail and her freckles (which were covered with makeup) shining through her face. She no longer looked like a fallen angle, she looked like an angel, just an angel.

- I thought about it and I want to talk, I need to talk - she almost murmured.

I was confused as to what to answer, but I didn't want her to leave again.

- Sure, want to walk around? - I proposed with a doubtful tone.

- Let's go to my special place - She said while brutally grabbing my arm.

Silence ruled for a few minutes, but it was soon interrupted by her when she said

- My name is Alexis, what's yours?

- Zac

Once again silence took over, but this time it wasn't awkward, it felt as if no one had to say anything to fill the scenery. We were going up a hill, but as we went up, the sun was lower. We finally reached the spot. On the mountain top there was nothing but a rock in the middle. She took me and we both sat on it. From there I could see another hill with a few buildings and the sun slowly going in the middle.

- I have had Bulimia for 3 years, I'm seventeen now. Before throwing up, my body and weight were normal. I don't know why I started. It started one day, when the thought just crossed my mind. I wanted to lose a little bit of weight and I thought it was the best way since diets were too hard for me. I did and before I knew it, I was doing it everyday nonstop. One day my sister found out, and the next day, I woke up to my parents telling me I needed help. Soon their attitude changed, and they were no longer telling me anything about help but the contrary. They told me that they weren't going to give me food if I was going to throw it up and things like that. Soon, we grew apart, and I wasn't allowed to go in the house again. I left them in Florida and I moved to New York. I had finished school, so my only option was to work as a stripper, so I took the job and now I am here - She spat out seriously

- I's sorry to hear that

- No - she interrupted - I am tired of people feeling sorry for me so now, please leave my story behind and tell me yours

- I wish I could tell you but I don't remember much of it to be honest. Somehow I ended up here and now, I'm just trying to survive. Where do you work now?

- I am actually not working, I saved up some money which I am using now, but it won't last long.

The sky started to get darker and darker and stars become clearer. The rock was big enough for both of us to fit, so she untied a shirt she had in her waist and we used it to rest our head on it while lying down. We laid for a long time and we talked talked and talked. I was surprised that she didn't want to know or at least question how I got her, maybe she thought I was lying, truth is, I was falling in love with her, and I definitely felt she had a connection with me.

After she finished her sentence, she realized I was staring straight into her eyes, so she did the same. I got the hint and I leaned in to kiss her. Luckily, she was thinking of the same thing. She cooperated, returned my embrace, and within a few seconds it was almost too hot to be public, but then again no one was there. It had turned into a romantic night.

I stopped.

- Should we finish at my place?

She agreed. For the next ten minutes we were running and laughing thought the streets of Scotland until we reached the hotel, and as soon as the bedroom door was opened, it was closed and almost instantly our clothes were on the floor too.

After we finished, she put on my shirt and we cuddled for the rest of the night.

-------------

I woke up, and I couldn't feel her anywhere around me, I looked closer and she was gone, leaving no traces behind, and all I knew was her name.

Alexis.
