Traitor (chapter 3)

"no. this can't be! you're lying to me, ain't you? that can't be me. what makes you think that's me and that I have this key thing anyway? my dad is probably Dead worried right about now. and you three, You don't have powers, ok? you are not super heroes, open your eyes to reality guys!" Nick clearly fooling himself to make things make sense, to put his mind at ease.

XAN X Walked up to him with a confident smirk on his face. stood next to Nick and stated that indeed we had this key and for proof,he asked him to lend him his arm. Nick did what was told to him. out of nowhere, XAN X pulled out a pocket knife and made a medium cut on Nick's palm. the cut was visible enough to see it and the blood was starting to drip onto the ground.

Nick:"what was that for? I asked for proof, not you to hurt me.it stings you know! ... ah! you know what,f-! "

XAN:" you wanted proof! didn't you?

shut up and enjoy the show,ok?

Matla! come here and heal this dude."

Matla:"okay!"

Matla came to Nick, touched the wounded part and then proceeded to close her eyes. a minute came to pass. what's happening? (some of us questioning the situation.) Nick laughed out loud with a high amount of corkiness. just as he was about spout something arrogant, Matla finally opened her eyes once again.(at a closer look at her eyes, they were a different color than from before and had a strange pattern to them) Matla in a cheerful voice said "all-done!"after, she removed her hands away from the covered wound to expose it.

the wound was completely healed now. "how is this possible...? " Nick completely puzzled.( how could this be explained in any other way?)

"Nick, you are the one who's day-dreaming dawg! you need to come back to your reality." XAN X said.

Nick:"so, I really murdered someone in cold blood?"

XAN: yeah, also no. you were given a drug that made you lose your sanity. in simple terms, you went psycho. it seems there was a traitor in our organization that drugged you and Ms Lora. after the realization, Nick just sat on the bed that Lora is laying on and went quiet for what felt like infinity. the boy who had the widest smile and a carefree altitude totally vanished in that very moment. we wanted to cheer him up but how could you approach a absolute stranger to tell him everything is going to be alright not knowing him,who would you be to him to try to console a person who doesn't even know you.

the only thing we could do for Nick was to leave him to his thoughts.at that moment the door open.it was another *alien*. this one was bigger than XAN X. it seemed like it was reporting in, on the traitor situation. XAN X called 4 troops to take us to our homes on aircrafts named scouters. ( they're unique aircrafts designed for stealth and exploration that have only 2 sits)he then informed us that, there was something he needed to do that was urgent. the troops and XAN X escorted us out of the room we were in. following the escorts we traveled in a hallway that seemed endless. the atmosphere remained quiet most of the time, Matla was the one who kept it lively.she talked to everyone.

what struck me about her was that she understood Nick's situation and told Nick "you can't change the past but you can change the future."

Nick:" tch! (gave a light smile) i guess you can't just a pretty cover, ain't you lolly?"

Matla: eh? what do you mean?

Nick : don't worry about it, what I'm trying to say is thank you.

Matla:"you're welcome!"

Nina: "when did you get to become this mature!"​

she was the sun that chased away the rain clouds on a storming day.

we finally reached a second door. the door was opened by XAN X, who stood in front of it to enable the door to open.(the door detects objects facing it.)we went through the circular door. Allen was very considerate in helping me again. even if i appreciated the help, i didn't want to become a burden to anyone.

what we saw on the other side was breath taking. it was like being in a test tube.the walls were so transparent that when we glanced through them, The was only space to be discovered. the sight was mesmerizing for us newcomers to an extent that we felt cultivated to stay there,if it wasn't for XAN X's interruption.

"this is were we part ways with one another until the time come for you all to learn how to use your powers. "Nick and Ms Lora, the proposal is still on for grabs.

and Nick, you can't blame yourself for the thing that you didn't do.

don't dwell on the past rather,use that time to change the future. how bright your future gets is up to you, like Matla said. the power that we're all given from the day, we're born is the power to change our future or someone else's. so bare this in mind, whatever decision you chose from this point on will not only impact you but people around you as well. it better to think it over, if you don't want the same thing to happen again. also be wary that some people might know about your current situations

and meguel! I'll need that device back."

right about when he was about to take it, Lora suddenly stopped him.

"can I talk to meguel for a moment please,

is just i have something to get off my shoulders.

so... meguel I apologize.

you, that day. (gazing directly into my eyes.)

how ironic right? anyway. I'm sorry!

i hope we can make peace and if possible, become friends!

i ended up accepting her apologize and became

acquaintance with her.

at the end of the conversation, XAN X took his device, we all said our goodbyes and went to our rightful homes.

the chapter came to a closed too, to let another one begin in its place.
