To Understand Your Little Mind

I think the worst part of growing up is realizing you'll never have the same view on things, same opinions, same thoughts. The innocence leaves more and more the older you get.

People used to ask me, "What flavor should I get?" My first thought would be, "Are we getting ice cream?"

I could hear someone in a movie say, "Pass the bottle." I'd think to myself, "I wonder what soda they're drinking?"

I would see people buying lighters and I would think, "Who's birthday is it?"

Now that I'm older it seems like everyone wants to ruin themselves rather than have fun.

Yes, there's more to life than coloring and watching tv all day.

However, I would kill to be younger again, to enjoy the little things, to be able to be friendly and talk to everyone without being judged.

When you're younger you think your parents know everything, suddenly you're older and you want to act like you know everything.

"Humility will teach you knowledge, arrogance will teach you ignorance. If you think you know it all, you have learned nothing."
