Angel walks into the precinct and sits at her desk. Esposito and Ryan are behind her, their eyes burning into the back of her head. She turns around and raises an eyebrow at them.

Angel: Can I help you?

Esposito: Montgomery just left for the crime scene to meet Castle and Beckett. Kidnapping.

Angel: Kidnapping? But that's not our department.

Esposito: Exactly.

Angel: What are you talking about?

Ryan: The Special Agent in charge requested her specifically.

Angel: Wait. Seriously? Sorenson?

Esposito: Mm-hm.

Luke walks in, wearing a very bright tie. Everyone's eyes widen.

Esposito: What the hell is that?

Luke: Oh, this? Oh, my beautiful girlfriend gave to me.

Esposito: You've only been dating for two weeks.

Luke: Exactly, it was our two week anniversary.

Esposito: Ah.

Castle and Beckett. The silence is deafening.

Beckett: Six months.

Castle: "Six months," what?

Beckett: We dated for six months.

Castle: I didn't ask.

Beckett: Yeah, I know. You were not asking very loudly.

Castle: I know, I'm like a Jedi like that.

Beckett and Castle exit and walk to the bullpen.

Castle: So, how'd you meet?

Beckett: Kidnapping. A 6-year-old boy.

Castle: How'd it end?

Beckett: We got the guy.

But the way she says it, there's clearly more to the story. We find Esposito, Ryan and Luke at their desks. Luke is wearing a particularly loud tie.

Beckett: What do we got on the parents?

Ryan: Theresa and Alfred Candela. Married ten years. One child: Angela Candela.

Castle: (noticing the tie) Whoa! Sorry. Sorry about that. That tie took me a little by surprise.

Esposito snickers

Luke: Okay. Get it all out. This is a gift from my girlfriend.

Esposito: "Girlfriend"?

Beckett: Already giving gifts, huh?

Luke: Today's our two-week anniversary.

They all "ooh"
