(thief is one of the best characters in the movie. my personal favorite is tack. btw the thief in this chapter is going to have the narration from the mirimax version. i found the mirimax version charming enough but not the best. i like all da versions, but original is the best)
"I will get the Golden Balls," Thief thought to himself, "I know I promised Prince Tack to never steal another thing again, but hey, it's not like he's gonna see it!"
Thief was on the streets, watching the people pass by. It had been 1 month since Tack and Yum Yum had wed, and all was well.
"But how to steal them without anyone noticing???" he thought to himself, "hmmm... I need a plan..."
"What are you doing?" a voice called out. Thief turned around with a look of shock on his face. There stood a beautiful young girl, who looked like she was in her early to mid 20s. Thief blushed at the sight of her. He had never seen someone so beautiful.
"Uh..." he grunted. He was a man of few words, hardly ever speaking. The last time he had uttered a word was about 20 to 30 years.
"Are you gonna answer?" she asked, and then her eyes narrowed. "Wait..." she said, "you're the guy that gave Tack the Golden Balls, right?"
"Uh, yeah..." Thief squeaked out, "that's me."
"Well, it was hero-like of you to give them to him," the girl said, "you're the one that found them."
Thief didn't want to break it to her that he had actually caused the whole thing with stealing the Golden Balls and the insanity that had followed. This girl was just so beautiful that his heart beat loudly in his chest. He hadn't felt this way in the longest time, but then finally spoke up:
"Well, I am a hero."
"You sure are," the girl smiled, "but what were you thinking about? You seemed deep in thought."
"I was just..." Thief said, "I was just thinking about how great everything is now that Zigzag and the One Eyes are gone for good. Don't you?"
"Oh yes," the girl said, "I don't think anyone liked Zigzag. He was too creepy."
"Yeah," Thief agreed. He was actually lying, he had found Zigzag rather charming and a good leader that seemed to agree with him on many points of view. Had he not arrested Tack and let him run free? But he had never thought that he wanted to KILL everyone except the Princess! That was taking it a little too far, but other than that Thief agreed with the sorcerer on basically every point.
"You're a good man," the girl said, "I can tell that."
"Yes. Yes I am. Never stolen a thing in my life."
Lying was terrible, his mother had always told him that. But he was Thief. He was a thief. He was a terrible crook that had somehow ended up being a hero. But here he was, lying all over again. Why was it always him?
"What's your name?" the girl asked, "I'm Elizabeth."
(i know it's arabia but the place seems to be a place where people of all backgrounds live so we'll just go with that)
"I-I'm Thief," Thief said.
"Thief?" the girl giggled, "what an ironic name!"
"I suppose it is," Thief smiled, nervously, looking away.

Fanfictioni had heard of this movie before in my days of rooting online (hahaha), but i was like, 'meh, it's unfinished, don't really care.' but one day a video from the movie showed up while scrolling through my shorts, and i'm like, 'who is this tack guy?'...
