Eyes. Black eyes. Blacker than a piece of pure coal. Blacker than the midnight sky without stars.
That is all I could see of the mysterious man in my house, while I screamed as loudly as I could.
In seconds, the man was standing directly in front of me, covering my mouth with his hand.
His hand was normal as far as I could tell. Except that it was really hot. So hot, in fact, that my lip started perspiring a few seconds after he put his hand there.
I tried to relax and think of a way out of this but my mind was in pure panic mode.
I bit down on the hot hand covering my mouth.
The man let out a cruel, heartless laugh.
“Do you really think that you can hurt me?” he sneered. His voice sent shivers through my spine. His voice was quiet but you could feel power coming through it. Another thing that bothered me was his tone. He didn’t speak in monotone but his voice simply held no emotion. Just power.
I widened my eyes in fear, wondering what was going to happen to me as I started hyperventilating.
Stop. I told myself. Stop it right now. I forced myself to breathe normally again. I needed to think of a way out of this and panicking obviously was not working for me.
“You’re just like your sister. Do you know that? I saw the same look on her face hardly three days ago.” He laughed, humorlessly.
My head shot up when he mentioned my sister. I kicked him as hard as I could, knowing that I had to get away. He took my sister. He would take me too.
“Stop it. I told you already that it is an absurd idea to try and hurt me. It will not work.” He glared at me with those black eyes.
I ignored everything he said and kept kicking as hard as I could.
“Now you’re just growing annoying.” The man muttered before he threw me to the ground.
I let out a small cry of pain as my hip crashed against the table by the door. I instantly tried standing, ignoring the pain in my side.
This might be my only chance to get away.
“I find it amusing that you think I will allow you to get away.” The man’s face twisted into a cruel smile as he looked down on me.
“You are a cruel, sadistic man.” I spat at him as he grabbed my arm, twisting it behind my back.
“So I’ve been told.” He whispered in my ear. Despite my strong attempts not to, I shivered slightly.
“What have you done to my sister?” I hissed, trying to turn around and face him. I did not want him behind me because I could not see what he was doing and that made me even more nervous.
My attempts at turning around were unsuccessful. They only resulted in the man tightening his grip on my arm.
“Don’t worry. You’ll soon be joining her.” He growled in my ear.
At that point, I decided to start screaming again. I knew that it probably would not be effective but I had to do something and hurting him and running away clearly were not options.
“I told you to shut up!” he roared angrily, revealing more emotion than I’ve heard the entire time.
I ignored him again and screamed louder.
“Help! Somebody help me!” I screamed as loud as I could, thrashing against the man.
“Shut up!” he snarled at me before bringing his arm down on my head. I swayed slightly as stars flashed across my vision.
