Jaehyun's pov (3rd person) :

The school's all rounder managed to dodge the crowd or his 'fans' while returning to the lockers from his daily solo soccer practice. He luckily caught the glimpse of his friends, who were standing past the twist of the corridors. He quickly placed his jersey inside his locker and made a beeline towards his friends.

"Bulletin of the day. The soccer team's captain has successfully ditched his fans for his friends and teammates." Jaehyun was glad to have an amiable chum like Sungho, who always cheered up the mood and all the fatigue seemed to vanish consequently.

"Bros 'fore hoes." He stated while half hugging his friends.

"Exactly! Now let's grab something from cafeteria and sit comfortably at our 'special' spot for a talk." He nodded in agreement as he noticed that Riwoo was yet panting from his dance practice.

The trio took their lunch, which was light as they didn't have much appetite. They reached and settled down calmly at their 'special' spot, which was a bench surrounded by tranquilizing lilac shrubs in the school's backyard. It was an insignificant location and additionally, vacant during the lunch breaks.

They sat in complete silence for a while, admiring the beauty of the nature. Then, Jaehyun remembered the points he needed to discuss with his teammates. So, he began,

"Uh about the.. soccer tournament." He paused to observe the reaction of the listeners and after receiving two nods and serious expressions, he continued,

"It's next month so we fortunately have some time to prepare. But I'll need your presence for the upcoming PE and miscellaneous classes as I've taken the grant for football practices. Our team has to win this cup too."

"Aye aye captain! If you have permission then there's no excuse for our absence. We'll definitely be there on time." The captain smiled proudly at the dedication of his teammates.

Niki's pov (1st person) :

"Honestly, jazz was not my genre. But since I've heard Jay hyung hitting it smoothly on his guitar, I've been a fan. He is so cool and..."

Blah blah blah. If he wasn't my crush then I'd have crushed his vocal cords. I had enough of his ramblings, all revolving around Jay hyung. Jay this.. Jay that.. there was a limit. Once crossed, I stopped paying attention to his words as it was never my cup of tea. What was so special in Jay that I lacked? Since childhood, I had treated him like he wanted. I could change myself further more if he wasn't satisfied. But why didn't he acknowledge my feelings for him even once, albeit I had given him ample signals till date? Was he deliberately ignoring my feelings or oblivious as hell? I considered the latter one as Jungwon would never hurt someone.

My hopeless thoughts were interrupted by BTS' "butter". Right, Jungwon's ringtone. Finally, his speech was over as he accepted the call.

"Hey, Jay hyung!" He greeted enthusiastically.

My headache was increasing uncontrollablely, hence I left the cafeteria and began clearing my mind with the help of the soothing winds and greenery outside. I was mindlessly walking around the campus until I heard some voices. Nearing, it became clear that they were laughs of some students. Oh! Jaehyun's group became visible as I reached there.

"Ha! Found you~" They sealed their lips and wore the cold face in response. I advanced further and halted when I was too close for their liking. Sneering, I resumed,

"So this is your hiding spot, you losers. I was wondering where you disappear during the breaks."

"Aww, do you miss me this much?" I glared at Jaehyun's audacity to retort.
