Woonhak's pov (3rd person) :
He threw a grateful grin at the boys standing by the door. Nearing within few steps while dragging the travel bag along, Woonhak found himself getting squeezed by one of the waiting males. He fondly hugged his cousin back, who excitedly exclaimed,
"Welcome to Seoul, bro!"
"I feel like a third wheeler here."
At the words, both detached and he chuckled awkwardly. He waved his hand at the other waiting guy and spoke, voice dipped in uncertainty.
"Nice to meet you too... Ri- uh Taesan hyung..?"
"Yup, that's me." The latter confirmed with a smile, a subtle hint of forgiveness and start of a fresh friendship.
"Come on~ don't act like freaks and hug already." The fish lover encouraged him.
Nodding, Woonhak leaned forward to mark the beginning of a new friendship, while the other gladly reciprocated the gesture.
"You surely are a clone of my childhood's giant teddy as Leehan once told me."
"And you definitely resemble the cat I saw in one of the YouTube shorts." Woonhak never failed in any debates.
"Alright my boys. You can talk as much as you want later but now we're actually running late, right Tae?" At Leehan's reminder, the hugging duo separated.
"Oh that's true.. well then I'ma go back and you both settle comfortably. Meet ya in the school tomorrow." He smiled watching his brother and Taesan's friendly hug and the latter's departure.
"Come corydoras.. let's get in!" Nodding, Woonhak stepped in the fish lover's huge house and as his cousin showed the room conferred on him, thanking, he made himself home.

*Time skip : next day*
Both the Kim brothers, after having their breakfast, headed to the school. Since it was his first day at the new school, he felt tad nervous, which was nothing out of the ordinary. As a result, he felt Leehan squeezing his palm occasionally, offering reassurance and comfort.
As the duo made it to the entrance of their school, his cousin was pulled into a hug by two guys, one familiar and other stranger to him.
Leehan, after detaching, turned towards Woonhak and said while pointing at the unfamiliar male,
"He's Riwoo, I hope you remember."
"Ah.." He let out a sound of acknowledgement before speaking his part of the introduction,
"Hi Riwoo! I'm Woonhak, Leehan's cool and champ cousin he keeps bragging about."
The addressed one's little laughter at his words made him smile. He greeted Taesan with a 'hello', receiving the exact reply.
"Let's get in... The classes are about to begin and we have to escort him to the principal's office too." At the cat-like's nudge, all the four boys proceeded to walk inside.
As they were progressing further, Woonhak felt people's gaze on him, which neither boosted his ego nor gave him an anxiety attack. He just didn't mind.
He could also hear undertone murmurs of the students standing in groups by the lockers and in the hallways, frequently catching up the discussions regarding the 'new transfer' and internally grinning from the way people were indirectly describing him as good-looking with impressive height.
"You're gettin' famous bro!" Leehan's voice broke his thoughts.
"What do you expect from a personality like mine?"
"I like your cousin already hannie." Riwoo's remark had him chuckling.
"Now you're stealing my friends too. I'm feelin' insecure..." His cousin joked.
"Like we care.." The former retorted.
Woonhak and Riwoo clapped their hands in victory as the fish lover pouted, defeated.
"Aw.. don't worry. Tae is loyal to you." He was surely liking Riwoo's confidence and sense of humour.
"Ay- I mean yeah, of course!" Taesan's protest, in a flash, turned into an affirmation when Leehan faced him.
Woonhak noticed their slight red cheeks, understanding the matter going on.
"Looks like we have to walk with a tomato pair today... I miss Hannie and Tae already~"
He didn't plan on encountering a pro wisecracker on the first day of his new school or having a stomachache as a result of heavy laughter, but he realised that predictions in the presence of Riwoo were worthless.
Fortunate for his jaw, which was in pain due to the constant cackling, his friends halted before a room labelled as 'principal's office'.
"This is where you'll get your schedule, locker keys and other information." He nodded in understanding at the knowledge provided by the cat-like.
"And..um the dean has slight aggressive and stern nature as I've noticed, so be as formal and polite as possible." A surprisingly grim Riwoo warned.
"Good luck! We'll head to our classes now." He smiled gratefully at his cousin's encouraging words and took a deep breath before knocking on the wooden door with his knuckle.
"Come in!" A guttural voice commanded and he followed the order.
"Good morning sir! I'm Kim Woonhak, the transfer student from Gyeonggi-do."
He said with a charming smile and an eighty degree bow.
"I see."
He accepted the sheet of paper, which was most probably his timetable, and the key to his locker with a 'thanks'. As he was about to leave, he heard his name being called by the principal.
Thus, he turned around, facing the man again and verbalised,
"Anything else sir?"
"Yes.. actually. I've checked that your schedule and classes are almost the same as Jaehyun's, so I've decided that he must show you around the school and sit with you in the classes as he's academically and all-over an ace. He's even friendly and would help you to stay on par with the curriculum."
Grasping the information, he slowly nodded. As he was about to enquire about the mentioned guy's whereabouts and the way to recognise him, the principal dialled someone's number, calling a staff if he had guessed right.
Moments later, he heard a knock at the door he had entered from. The man answered with the similar 'come in" and he suppressed the urge to turn in the visitor's direction, deeming the act informal.
The sound of the someone's footsteps echoed in the silence of the office and he felt the presence of that person besides him.
"Why am I summoned sir?" The boy asked, his voice pretty good to hear and English accent was out of the world.
"He is Kim Woonhak, a transfer. And Woonhak, he's Jaehyun, school's top performer."
His eyes partially widened at the detail shared and he promptly faced the other guy, who was already looking at him, to greet and befriend.
As if the time froze, he couldn't take his eyes off Jaehyun, who appeared to be too good-looking with an adorable bunny-like smile on his face.
Not like he hadn't seen a handsome guy before, even his cousins had stunning looks, but the boy was a masterpiece. A unique, one and only, person who had attracted him within mere six seconds.
"Hey, Woonhak!"
