When I arrived at the room the doctors assigned me to, my mom was waiting for me. She was a white cloud, a big blur in a big white room. I was so disoriented but, I haven't gone to sleep since I woke up to the defibrillator.
"How do you feel?" my mom spoke first. I wasn't sure how I felt. I haven't thought about me. Ive been to worried about how I am going to effect my family if I were to give up the ghost.
"Okay, I guess..."
"Im glad. do you think you will feel good enough to see guest tomorrow?'' she asked me
Before I could respond. I thought.
Would I feel good enough. Would I ever feel good enough to leave. Will I ever feel good.. Do I feel good?
"Who wants to see me?" I finally said after I thought about all of the questions, and found the answer.
"Ummmm.... your father"

*****FLASHBACK******
"How could you do this to our little girl? How could you do this to ME?!?!" a female voice said in a muted voice.
"I didn't mean to." said a booming male voice
"Please. Save it. That is exactly what your father said to Beth." piped in the female abruptly

I couldn't bare to his name. Even though it wasn't his actual name, which is Bruce. I did not want to see him. All he is- is a lieing, cheating con-artist. I had nothing to say to him. He hadn't been in my life but for 5 years, and every thing he needs to know about me he does.
"Are you okay with seeing him?" asked my mom, "I know you don't really know him and you don't understand what happened. You were 5. I don't expect you to know but this could be a good time to get to know what really happened."
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!" I was stoked that she had the nerve to ask that question.
"Yes. Honey why would I lie to you?"
"Mom, the VERY last thing I need is more stress. I am already in a hospital going on 2 months, about to die. I could really use some time to take a break, and you could use some off days. Go home because all of THIS is obviously making you go this foolish!"
"I am sorry. I will leave" said my mom in a very disillusioned voice. She gathered her bag and the cloths that she had brought to stay. Stood up walked over to my bed side and kissed me on the forehead.
"I hope that me leaving will make you realize how much I love you..." and with that she was gone.
**3:45 pm**
I was so tired. From all of the stress that had been floating in the air earlier. I still cant believe that my mom had the nerve to ask me that, but I mean she is desperate right now. I cant handle this any more. I need to take a nap. I buzzed the nurse to come in the room. Once she had reached my room and knocked on my door I was almost asleep. She had to change out my I.V's and give me some pain medicine. After she left the room I was beyond tired. So I decided to take a nap.

"I thought I told you to came over here!!!!!"
"Who are you? Why are you yelling at me?" I asked hazily.
"Is that really necessary?!?!? I thought that we had already gone over this?"
"But I cant see you. How am I suppost to know who you are?"
*CLUMP, CLUMP, THUD!*

I woke up to a loud beep. I wasn't sure where it had come from. I had heard it before.
*FLASH* *FLASH*
"MOM?" I asked very perplexed
"I am sorry. I could not bare not to see you any more. Any day could be your last and I could not end it with us in a fight."
"Its okay. I am sorry..." I said , then added "I should not have reacted like that."
"Its okay baby, I should not have asked you so soon."
"Forgive me?"
"I already have" she said with a smile and walked over to my bed side. Sat down on the corner of my bed. Leaned over to kiss my forehead but before she could I had a horrible pain in my upper body.
"AAAAHHHHHH!!!!! BUZZ THE NURSE!!!!!"
"Okay..." she said scared, "Are you okay?'' I could not respond it hurt so bad....
