It had been 3 years since Naruto had been framed of the rape of Sakura Haruno.
No matter what Naruto said the chakra signature in Sakura's home had been undoubtedly his. He was found guilty on his way to The T and I unit(Torture and Interigation) where he was tortured into hopes of confession which he refused to.
On his way to prison he was slapped by Sakura and numerous items were thrown at him from all the villagers. "The demon finally showed his true colors." they said
Ever since then the guards who hated the Kyuubi let the villagers in regularly to beat him half to death. He had chakra restraint on so the kyuubi couldn't heal him.
The only ones who believed he was innocent and openly stated it was Shikamaru, Jiraiya, Iruka, Kiba,and Hinata who had had a major change in personality, and Sunawhich had ended their treaty with Konoha.
Back in Konoha's dark prison cells layed the former shell of Naruto Uzumaki. He lay dieing, his left eye bleeding and caked with dried blood his right eye staring blankly at the wall.
He hadn't eaten for a long time and slept in even longer. He had large black circled around each eye. He had lost hope his friends used too but didn't visit any longer.
